If there's enough response to this post, provided there is no place there's updates of his portfolio, I'll take it up myself to provide the value of his portfolio every week based on his week 21 data. For initial buy price I just put $0, so the gain % might be messed up, but total portfolio value is correct.

The good folks here at Bitcoin Forum got my account unlocked and returned in a very timely manner, but, already having made the decision to “lock” the model portfolio, I decided to leave things as such.

Nevertheless, with the model portfolio exceeding $100,000.00 for the first time on yesterday’s close, I thought it a good time to pop in, say hello and celebrate a bit!

We’ve made it to one hundred grand!

A 10x since May 27th.

BTC has done a 6x, so we’ve outperformed, albeit not by much, but we’re involved in projects with massively superior upside potential.

We’ll see just how well things stand up comparatively during the coming correction, which isn’t a question of if, but when.

10,000 into a million dollars is pretty crazy. I would be happy even with $100,000, it will be enough for me to settle and make new investments.

This thing is true about bitcoin that it covert the low investment into the high profit and there are many people who bought bitcoin at the low prices and now bitcoin has given them millionaire thing and there is no other system that works like bitcoin it is unique in nature and may be first and last thing on this planet to achieve so much profit so don’t wait and invest into bitcoin so that huge havoc of profit come.

HODLing doesn't need to have effort on your end. Buy and accumulate bitcoin and just let it sit overcome no need to do effort and I'm sure that in about 5-10 years you will be a millionaire. The question is that can you hold it that long. Another case is the early adopters who buy bitcoin and bulk and hold it. They are now millionaires. So no effort needed. But if you are going into trading, of course you will need a lot of time and effort and capital to reach the 1 million mark. That's why I now prefer to just buy bitcoin and hold. Too much stress for me in trading. And besides I have other priorities as well. So for me, the best to turn $10,000 to a millions is to buy all of it into bitcoin and hold for 5-10 years. No stress, no effort. Just secure your bitcoin to a hardware wallet and backup everything.

There are two ways to get millionaire in crpto currency. First is that you invest in bitcoins and wait for price rise. Since price is moving very high and quick you are likely to get your goals in less time and that too in a secure way.
The other option is to invest in good ICO and once the coin reaches exchanges, you are bound to get nice profits.

Cardano (ADA) has performed very nicely. Depending on how low your average price was (and when), it’s a 4x to 8x in USD terms. A very nice gain. What’s really important for me though is that it’s pushing a 50% portfolio position, and, well, that’s just not good portfolio management. Consequently, I’ve balanced my personal portfolio by selling ADA and buying more STEEM, BTS, and SYS, in that order. The model portfolio is “locked” and will continue to be so (I’m interested in seeing if it ends up achieving better long term returns than my managed portfolio), but that doesn't apply to my personal portfolio which at least trys to emulate best practice principles.

I had no choice but to rebalance.
 
I also have fun selling strength and buying weakness, so it wasn't that hard.

OP current stats is at $166,000. What a great achievement from his initial balance from $10,000 (166,6% or 16,6x). Feel a regret didn't follow HR's trading especially when he decided bought ADA.

wow. great graph! so much motivation in it. i cant imagine me invisting in crypto and ending in a huge value of money. but it is still not impossible, however todays amount of bitcoin is on panic. its value is also higher than last week, so its very risky to invist! however, the higher the risk, the bigger of return.

You can do that, if you will buy bitcoin with that $10,000 and put it on altcoin trading and continuously trade altcoins in the market for a few couple of months and you will not recognize that you will make a good progress and maybe, who knows that you can make it up to a 1 million dollars in just a whole year of trading altcoins.

Little luck and the choosing the right coin in crypto can bring much more out of 10k and bitcoin is really capable to give million out of 10k and yes this can be done by day trading and there are many people here who had done so in past and following them will lead you to the same result and for this thing huge patience is required and then investing money and after 3 to 4 year a million will come to you by itself.
