Really, if you can buy (or already own, for the record) a whole bitcoin today, i.e. you've got over 2,000 dollars of what should otherwise be considered as spare money (financial capital), you are likely already in the top 1% financially and not somewhere within the next 30 years but right now. Obviously, just owning 1 Bitcoin alone may not be enough to put you inside the wealthy "elite", but I guess this bitcoin would not be your only asset anyway

Did a little bit research and I don't think that is possible. To be in the top 1% in this world you need to have an average income of at least $521,000 in US dollars which I don't think Bitcoin will reach. And to keep that in mind it must be annually meaning 1 Bitcoin is not enough to make you be in the top 1$, also even if its worth 521,000 usd you need to have multiples of it which I don't think Bitcoin will reach that kind of amount. Let us be realistic in our expectation in order not to be disappointed at the end.

Its too much time to hold 1 btc since the price of bitcoi is increasing fast.. i think after 5 years is good to sell them if the price was hit $5k value if you buy in the present price. look at the market price of bitcoin today it was drop from yesterday and right now we have $1,971 value and i think the price can be x5 in 5 years.. or after block halving.. and buy bitcoins again if the price was low and sell again after few years..

It's impossible to time the tops and bottoms. You may think you are making a killer deal thinking you'll easily rebuy cheaper but it's simply put impossible to know what's going to happen with a such a volatile asset.

The only guarantee that we have is that the supply is shrinking, so if the demand is going up as well, the price will only go up long time. Im not selling my BTC unless I can retire and still keep a % of my portfolio in BTC pretty much forever.

True, if you are a normal citizen, you have a small amount of capital, you can buy a bitcoin as a savings for the future, with the incremental bitcoin index like the present, profit you Obtained from bitcoin can be equivalent or faster than savings deposit at banks. But it is very difficult for bitcoin to last so long, it will need a lot of innovation.

You're right, before we thinking about bitcoin in 30 years later, how about our life whether we still alive or die soon because an accident maybe. I'm sure bitcoin will reach fantastic price in 5 years, and more in 30 years later maybe around $50,000 if the increase is $1k-$2k per year. But, to put you in the top 1% financially in the world capacity, maybe not as you need billion of $ USD to reach that point or at least 500-1000 bitcoin I guess.

Well if you can have patience for a long time you can do it exactly, because 30 years is not easy to do and it needs a lot of efforts to do in order to make your holdings of 1 btc will not be stumbled. Be firm on your decision and manage your finances will without any ideas of dumping or selling not in a right time, everything must be according to the right situation which could not end up to a profit loss. Make it the good idea of saving digital currency that makes good sense aside from saving fiat cash through banks at your local which will not gain good profit even though you put bigger amount, but still you won't gain great profit from it.

Buying 1 bitcoin and sell it to the right time when the price of bitcoin is rapidly increasing is a good idea. If you have 1 bitcoin try to trade to gain more than 1 bitcoin.If you hold your 1 bitcoin in a month’s or in a year’s you will see how much the difference in the price.

But we have to have in mind the volatility of Bitcpins and how easily the price could change. So, a year ago you neede 1000 BItcoins or more now it's maybe only hundred but who knows what the next period of time will bring.

But we have to have in mind the volatility of Bitcpins and how easily the price could change. So, a year ago you neede 1000 BItcoins or more now it's maybe only hundred but who knows what the next period of time will bring.

For sure the next period of time will bring an increase in the price of bitcoin. I am sure about that. After it is adopted in Australia, the price of bitcoin will fly up. And besides this there are still facts that say that the price will rise

If you want to get a quick profit every bitcoin purchase, we need to monitor it every day, no need to wait until monthly or yearly as the market moves every hour. Okay, with just a single Bitcoin you won't be able to "come to Hollywood and make it in the neighborhood". But if Bitcoin reaches 10k dollars per coin (which seems to be quite feasible within a few years), you may already consider yourself belonging to the top half of "this world" (and you will get there even if this bitcoin is your only asset). And to actually make into the wealthy 1% of the world population, you will have to wait till Bitcoin reaches 1M dollars per coin. Apart from that, according to the figure below, your total wealth should be counted, not income, i.e. all the assets that you own (houses, yachts, slaves, etc), which looks reasonable



As to me, it is easier to make (earn, trade, steal, whatever) 500 bitcoins than wait 30 years

Maybe it's very good, and can be very profitable in the future. Maybe it's not so damaging when bitcoin prices go down, but in a long time, I think bitcoin prices can go up really high, and even with 1 btc you might get rich.

It depends on how long would you be able to hold that 1 singlw bitcoin. The road could be very tempting since we might reach $3000-$4000 very soon. Realistically speaking though, 30 years is forever in crypto, and a lot more things could come along the way. Though bitcoin might not reach million per single coin, it can somehow be worh something that could help you in your retirement in the next 3 decades.

yes it is good, but for now just be patient more, it is good that you may wait a little bit and then try to buy it, im hoping that bitcoin price will be good at the end of thos year so i just hope that bitcoin will increase its value before the year ends. buy bitcoin when its a little bit than the price where it is higher , then choose to sell a half of it when it increase of a more than half of it and then the amount that has been left out is being stored and make it as an investment for the future.

Nice to hear that. I am now having 1 bitcoin. I will surely be rich in the future haha. I also hold 10 ethereum because I believe that ethereum is better than Bitcoin. Maybe in the future I will be rich

If this amount is insignificant for the author, then he can wait 30 and 40 years. But we need to make sure that in case of your sudden death (this also can happen and we must remember it) someone else had access to bitcoin.
