Loss almost 40%, should stop trading or not ?

You should stop trading know or you should hold your coin until it raise again. Because price will definatelly grow up but if you can't afford loss then you should stop and if you can afford then continue with it

Yes that is great idea if he can't afford loss he needed to stop trading with coin and hold it for bright future till to when he did know all the techniques of trading and later as he wish to start trading or hold it to more for long time. So and if he hold it he is not loss own coins because you are right its price will be very high in coming months or years .

This is me a few months ago where I lost almost 50%. We are in the bitcoin correction we should not trade now. Do not sell just keep it that way. It will go up again next 2months. All you have to do is wait and be patient. Trading is for patient people.

Yes, when trading is not profitable then switching over to the plans of holding must be a right decisions. We can earn/multiply from any other methods except trading. So, there will be no meaning to simply continuing trading when it is not profitable. Trading some times seems similar to gambling. So, passive type of trading will be profitable all the people.

Yes, passive trading is nothing but buying and holding for longer haul. Anyone could do this. With respect to speculations on bitcoin's future, holding bitcoins will be definite profitable for all long term holders.

It's like you are working with your job, you love your job but the workload is too heavy and you can't take it anymore.

I have experienced the same when I found myself in the loss of around 35%+ and I decided to hold the position as the amount invested was less than 5% of my capital. I waited for almost 2 to 3 hours and I found that I have not only covered my loss but also made 18% profits on my investments. However, choosing 200X leverage was a silly decision and I was trading in a high risk area.

I think you should stop, because you have not been able to control your emotions. Because I think in trading we must be able to control emotions.

I should not stop trading.I will not give up because I have 40% lleft to get back all my loses.Its on what I beleive and I feel that in the end i'll be successful trader.I should focus on my profit.Even if I failed but still I have the hope to be rich though bitcoin.I will keep on hoping until I have breathe theres still I can do to rise up and move.

Thats the spirit we should not give up inspite of those loses and as long we do have still balance theres always a chance that we can able to earn it up again those loses but we should really be more wiser as of now and learn from our past mistakes that we done. Stopping completely without even trying to improve is on ones dumb decision but well there are people who are really easy to give up when they already experience defeat or failure from the very first time. We should really take or accept this loses in able to be molded as a better trader later on.

I used to be a quantitative trader full time, and still trade on the side now.  And I can tell you that I've taken bit hits, and have taken big wins as well.  It's natural to lose, but at the same time, it's the best (and only?) way to learn.

I'd try to see what you can learn from this experience.  If you're day trading (can't tell your horizon from your post), I would say that daily stop losses are a good way to force a max loss per day, and give you additional time to reflect.  Try to figure out what you did wrong and be more methodical in the future.  Be positive!

Yes! You are absolutely correct. Trading with bitcoins need sound knowledge in mathematics, behavioral psychology, business etc. Crypto trading is not gambling at all. You need patience and good control over emotions to play with mind and be one of the successful investors. Analyze your losses and get best out of them.

Well some people, we have to accept, doesn't really have the attitude for trading, hence it would be better if they just stick to other things because forcing themselves may just end up with more losses and frustrations. Aside from the patience and knowledge needed, hr roght attitude and mindset i also very important as there will always be times when you're not gpong tohave good returns

Could you share a little bit more how you got managed to make your frustrating trading into profitable trading ?

Because I do see many people are sharing about their continuous losses with trading even they are good with learning from their mistakes like why that losses had happened and what are the root cause for that losses. Still, they are sharing they are unable to tackle like how to avoid losses. If you come with some practical guidelines it will be good for many people including myself.

Imo, trading is like playing Texas Holdem (Poker). If you can't find the fish on the table, then you are the fish swimming in a pool full of sharks. 95%+ traders lose money. As a beginner..sure you can get lucky, but the longer you stick around, the more chances those sharks will eventually gobble you whole. Better to stop trading if you keep losing. If we choose to keep trading and keep losing, as much as any of your money in an instant will be exhausted.

If you don't have patience you should really stop trading even from the start. Trading aren't for a person who doesn't have a patience because patience plays an important role in trading. It is one of the key to become succesful on this way.
