You don't need to stop trading what you need to do is study and learn how to trade while doing this use little amount of money because it is expected that you will lose since you are still in the process of learning. But if you do not have time to study then be an investors leave the coins you bought for years and get back to it when the price is already x20 or more.

Trading is a rough way to make a living, only a few percent of traders can constantly profit from it.

Never forget the basic rule of trading i.e. Buy LOW Sell HIGH. If you are running in losses then in order to compensate them, you can either purchase the same coin at low prices or try to compensate it with investment in other Altcoins which can probably grow exponentially. You can also look forward to investing in an ICO.

Buy Low and Sell High was the very best basic rule I learned from trading and upto till now I am still using it because it works perfectly fine to me.

Charge it as a lesson you don't need to stop trading because you experience some lost this is part of trading not all day you are lucky to earn there are times lost, like whats happen to you , but the experience you make is enough to more careful before buying any coin. Just give it a try again and again until you get what you want don't give up.

Well my opinion is continue, its just normal for us to loss because loss is part our life but we must learn from that mistake and try again. Don't give just because you loss 40% of your money. It might you just have lack of experince hence, you should ask some tips and conduct some research inorder to widen you knowlege upon trading. However, it is just only my opinon still its up to you on what move you will do.

Losing btc in trading is you can serves it as a lesson and summarize at what point did u make a mistakes. You were right if in lose someone gained profit. Just follow the basic rules in trading buy at dip and sell when earn profit. Take it as a lesson so next time you are prepared on what to do during trading in the market.

I think Bitcoin trading is different from conventional currency trading like EU-USD and others.
In Bitcoin, you do not need to do anything like that or sell quickly at low prices because it is very harmful. In Bitcoin you can either postpone or keep your coin until the price of the coin rises again, although we can not know when the coin will rise again unless the coin is a coin that is a lot of the community and is a heavily traded coin. You can check the movement of the coin in the forum or if here can be checked on the thread or it could be from the news of the coin.

You are so right. I lost the most on trading in beeing unpatient. Many legit altcoins climbed up dramaticly the last years and months so I only should have hold them instead of panicly selling them at first drop.
Unpatience and panic is an emotion that I am not sure anymore to be able to control. So I left trading with loss and lesson. Now I watch ico that have promising projects. It makes fun to research on those projects and get first informations about innovative developments, invest and see them growing.

Just go your own way, my friend lost 80% of his balance (10 BTC to 2 BTC) but he keept trading and now he has more than 5 BTC in his balance, don't be worried.

I guess you might need years to recover as in near future bitcoin is highly speculated to have big value hence eth may continue its downfall. But I'm sure if you consider USD equivalent then probably you can recover it in coming months itself.

I do see it is highly unfortunate situation for you because you have bought ethereum at peak price levels. But compared to any other altcoins, you may continue holding your coins so that you can easily recover rather than selling off your holding and trying to recover by trading other coins.

You are right. Giving up at this crucial time when the prices are going to pump will be a regretful decision. Loss and profit are parts of trading. Never take losses on heart. Try to figure out where u went wrong and never repeat those mistakes.

This is the main thing which should be considered.If you dont have trust on any coin in the market and it seems you are just wasting your money then better to completely stop and move into other things on which you can see that can able to make you money because if you let these doubts would remain you cant really execute trading properly because you do have these kind of doubts.

Exactly!  If he wants to have any sucess, imo (take it or leave it), read up tremendously on the coins you're purchasing and buy during a dip, hold for quite some time and see where it goes after a few weeks.  Day trading cryptos will leave you pennyless,  the whales will  eat you right up
