1- Xtrabytes(New and groundbreaking technology and a proving start after a lot of fud. not minable & fixed supply, The supply goes down when a static node is registered causing the price to shoot up, i really like this one).
2- Pivx (Master node currency having similarities to dash and is rival to dash).
3- Monera (untraceable, i thinks thats the only reason to buy this one. It has huge fluctuations of anonymous money).

For long term the best choice that you can buy are top altcoins that has billions of coin supply and a very low price lower than a buck like Cardano, Verge, Tron, Reddcoin, Dogecoin etc.
Otherwise for short-term investment like half a year or less then Oyster is the best choice.

Large number of altcoins are present in market in which some are dead while some are nearly to dead.
You should be care while choosing altcoins. According to my experience for trading and investing some altcoins like ethereum, ripple and waves are best option.
They have good prices and users are also large in number while performance is also good and we can imagine that there future will also be bright.

For me the best altcoin to buy in 2018 is Aeternity as I believe that it will appreciate a lot pricewise throughout the year. Its now traded at around $2. I wouldnt be surprised though when it will multiply by 5 times at least maybe even 10 times. Time will tell. Im patiently waiting for the mainnet to be released in Q2 2018.

The best coins to buy are KEK(memechain and staking), POSW(soon masternode), NETKO(great staking rewards, IT company), XEL(supercomputer, ONION(to participate in airdrop), BTX,(to participate in airdrop) and FLO!
All coins have great fundamentals and are still at the bottom so pump will be big I am still accumulating and hodling for the real moon.

Hi there,

I'm new in this world but I would say it depends on your goals.

You can either:
- Put your money on an ICO

• Do a lot of research and reading in order to assess if the project is worth it and has a good future
• Some of them have good ideas but I don't know if they will/can succeed (Crypviser [Cybersecurity], SunContract [power contracts]...)

- Buy some new coins that make you enthusiast (I bought some coins that offer a good idea like Humaniq [Unbanked people], SingularDTV [Netflix like], Ardor [Nxt 2.0], GameCredits [Gaming platform - New project "MobileGo" on the launch])
- Buy some coins that already are on the spotlight (Stratis, Lisk, Waves, Eth, Nxt...)

We can never know but in my opinion (and it's only mine), when I invest I try to seek something disruptive !

For now, many people would tell you to go after Eth, Waves, LTC and Ripple, those are the promising coins as of late that are showing good signs of increase due to their developers' recent news about pumping and increasing the market caps of those coins. Having said, especially for a newbie, it would be an easier way to find your sources in one spot, like the one provided in https://daneel.io. Your list of altcoins is within my investment range, which are all potential and wonderful altcoin. I am currently keeping most of my assets on ethereum because I see that it will grow very strong in the future. I also invest in some good ICO projects for long term investment in the next few months.

Why don't you choose NEO instead of Bitshares though? NEO is starting to threat Ethereum. NEX (Decentralized exchange for NEO tokens) will be game changer. Just like Etherdelta did for ETH, NEX will help NEO to go new highs. I'm expecting NEO to rise to 4 digits after NEX launch.
