****Important**** FUCK Token has forked 3/18/2018
Dear Fuck Community,
After recent events, I had no other choice but to fork FUCK Token. This was a takeover of the main developer wallet in the best interest of FUCK. I’ll explain below:
The person who came up with FUCK Token and executed the smart contract/ ICO is named Jexprand. In July, Jexprand published the bitcointalk thread for FUCK (
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945661.0) and I became obsessed with the potential to make this token work, effectively joining on as the main developer. Jexprand didn’t have the resources or drive to develop the project, so I pushed him to make FUCK Token something real.
It didn’t take long for me to notice that Jexprand and my vision for FUCK Token were very different. I always saw great potential for this token, and still do. I was convinced that if we went through with my plans, FUCK Token could have an impact on the space and could contribute to the mainstream adoption of cryptocurrency through a fun tipping token.
To Jexprand, however, FUCK Token was just a silly joke, nothing serious. As a result, he wasn’t very active in bringing the project forward, so I took matters in my own hand. Initially, I was fine with this agreement: I do most of the main development while Jexprand handles any smart contract work. I work two jobs but I have devoted most of my free time to work on FUCK Token.
As you know, developing a project costs money. Communication over the last 8 months with Jexprand has been slow, but the project needed to progress and FuckHub developers had to be paid, so I ended up paying expenses up front out of my own pocket. Jexprand covered my expenses for a while with our funds from the small fundraiser, so I kept on spending my own money as he was not willing to give me control over a part of the ETH raised. This was a major red flag that I overlooked. In hindsight, it was naïve to trust someone that I don’t know with all of the work I have put into this for the last 8 months.
As you may have guessed by now, several weeks ago Jexprand went silent. I continued to pay all costs involved in the development of FuckHub and asked several times to be paid back, to no avail. Over the last 8 months he has had sole access to everything, including the developer FUCK wallet and any ETH dedicated to running the token. Friday night, Jexprand moved 6m FUCKs from the main wallet while staying silent to my attempts to contact him. His silence was worrisome, but this move confirmed he is intentionally ignoring me and forced me to take drastic measures to secure the main wallet. Without this wallet I cannot continue development of FUCK Token. I have been paying for development with my own ETH for FuckHub, and will continue to do so.
In order to keep adding support for new platforms, I will eventually have to liquidate small portions of the development fund. The main developer wallet was originally allocated to funding the development of FUCK Token. After noticing that Jexprand sold 700k FUCKs on Idex and still not responding to my messages I feel safe to say that Jexprand does not intend to use them for the original purpose, so I decided to transfer ownership of the main developer wallet to myself. I will be using these FUCKs to cover any cost associated with the token in a responsible manner. I will be looking into a smart contract that locks tokens for an extended period of time.
I have issued a 1:1 fork of the token and sent the developer wallet to myself, reversing the recent main wallet moves. Consider this a separation from the old FUCK, where Jexprand has the liberty to develop if he desires. If you have FUCKs on Idex or Etherdelta/Forkdelta, your balances have been credited 1:1. The new token is in your wallet and this token will be used for FuckHub.
Moving forward this means if you want to continue with the tokens that will be used on FuckHub you will have to change the contract address on MyEtherWallet. I have contacted Idex, Etherscan, MEW and Coinmarketcap to change the relevant information. It may take a couple of days for this to take effect, so please don’t move/trade tokens until I have given the green light. I know this is very sudden and confusing, but the best course of action is to not move any tokens right now. If you need to send tokens, make sure that you know which contract address you are using.
To reiterate, for everyone holding fucks: you have the exact same balance just the contract address has changed. I am sorry this change is happening so quick but it was absolutely necessary in order for FUCK to continue on.
Please take a look at the wallet storing your FUCKs. You will see a new FUCK in there, as an “unconfirmed” token with the contract address 0x65be44c747988fbf606207698c944df4442efe19. The token name is Finally Usable Crypto Karma, instead of FinallyUsableCryptoKarma (no spaces).
Once etherscan verifies this token over the next week or two, this token will become the official FUCK and the old one will be renamed “FUCKOLD2”. If your balance is somehow different (this shouldn’t happen), please PM me and I will make sure you are taken care of. https://t.me/FuckTokenCoinmarketcap might show the price of FUCK going to near zero. This is because they will be receiving information from the previous contract address. The new one will be reflected as soon as they update the token information. Etherdelta is a complicated situation; the developers seem to have abandoned it. Please do not use Etherdelta or Forkdelta until the update has been pushed. Idex with the new contract address will be online shortly.
