Could someone with more experience in chart reading explain the price glitches (stepping patterns) from yesterday and today to me? Never seen this in this! chart (coinmarketcap). Looks to me like a whalegame or some buy and sellwalls got ping-pong triggered. Do I read this right? Just trying to understand what's happening since iam only in the cryptogame for about 6 months. By the way... Iam a true supporter of BAS since day one and I see great future here. Dev always answered my questions in timely manner, even on sundays! Coinswap went super smooth for me. Can't wait to see more news about the mobile wallet. Maybe I get lucky and can do my first BAS payment while iam in BKK in january 2018 I've been waiting for BAS to recover from the dip at HitBTC and (coz I'm also a noob) I didn't realize the volume was so low that I doubt it will ever recover at this state. Good thing my googling brought me to this thread and placed hope on my sad little BAS army -- must be the elite group coz I bought them expensively (.000886 a unit). Will keep myself posted here from here on. It would be quite interesting to know where BAS will be heading.. so I will start reading back. Cheers! Its low supply and Dev is actively delivering as promised so sooner or later you will make profit on this, considering supply is low.

where/how to get some these coins. i too am in asia and would be interested.
are you trying to compete with OMG?
I would look at it like this: OMG (OmiseGO) is going after a different market, huge multinational corporations. BAS (BitAsean) is going to be like OMG but for smaller local and regional businesses and sole proprietorships. If you use OMG at McDonalds in Thailand, you use BAS at the floating market.

I have been reading every page here. Your question list page 37 of july 3 has NOT been answered, yet you continue to involve in this coin??? extremely weird. Gets me thinking bytecodeteam and you may be the same person. For example SunContract you can see the entire team more transparant won't you say just the words from a sober Dutchman.

This is a shitcoin extraordinaire.
I questioned the merits of making a currency for that region of the world- yes, combining all those countries as if you are making something like the euro but for that region- and having it for the merchants to use, over something like bitcoin or litecoin or dash. " the local merchants want to use something in their language " was my response. Now go to their website- see if you can find anything written in any other language apart from... english. When I pointed this out, someone on the trollbox said " look on their twitter, theres thai there " and I clicked on the only other non english language post- and the background of the twitter account, i shit you not, was a scammy looking background picture of a dude with sacks of cash with some vague " get rich quick" stuff reminiscent to pop up adds on particular websites. I pointed this out and the post was removed by the team later.. obviously monitoring hitbc with great interest.
Would a coin for that region of the world not even have ANY of those languages? The roadmap on the frontpage is about their marketcap- to satiate your greed. Sorry guys but you've been had.

I have personally been in contact with the Bytecode Dev Team by email and they satisfied my concerns that's why. And no, I am not part of the Dev team, I'm just a stakeholder with some coins. I agree there should be more transparency with regards to the team however seeing that they are soley focused on the project is encouraging. When they are ready they will announce their team. I can tell you this, they are Thai. They are doing what they say they want to do and I am patient because I believe BitAsean fills a niche in that part of the world which other cryptos are not.

It may be that a certain percentage of the population speaks english, though it isn't great at all, but if you think all those merchants in the various regions it's trying to unify speak english and therefore can go on their website and see what they are all about then you are mistaken. Whatever, we all live in our own bubbles anyway. Your dollar to fritter as you like!

As for their work in Thailand I believe such business relationships would be done through other more personal channels.

Don't you think the lack of any other language is suspicious? It would be like the equavalent of making a latin america coin and only having it in english, not portuguese or brazlian. I believe the website looks like a piece of turd and their whitepaper is a also just saying nothing at all, but hey, different folks different strokes. Let's see where we are in 6 months, I hope i'm wrong
