Converted some Lisk & Stratis into BTS. Seems to be a better project but need more marketing to promote it.

This is just another round of pump no roadmaps of further development . Maybe some Chinese support but rather a dead end. The only good for Bitshares is the hedging. Fees are too high on their DEX .

If you don't know what you're talking about, maybe not talk at all?

Since you didn't read the announcement page, I'll show you.

2017 Roadmap (google doc): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1kgTYNEeqYP8xrEKBs2L0uc52xjQCPURuigI2CIplEtE/edit?usp=sharing

Constant development.

bitshares.org interface: https://bitshares.org/wallet/#/market/BTS_OPEN.BTC
openledger interface: https://openledger.io/market/BTS_CNY
bitshares.eu interface: https://wallet.bitshares.eu/market/BTS_USD
freedom ledger interface: https://secure.freedomledger.com/#/market/USD_BTS

btsabc interface (Chinese): https://bit.btsabc.org
RuDEX interface (Russian): https://market.rudex.org/

Those are all different teams.

Fees are too high on their DEX .

Fees are extremely small https://twitter.com/btswolf/status/870298809452113921

Possibly smallest of all crypto (that use fees), they also fund development unlike centralized funding and exchanges like waves.

Also you get reimbursed on most trading fees so they end up FREE.
Quote
Unfilled orders, when canceled, receive a 100% refund on fees. Partially filled orders are not eligible for a refund. Filling orders is fee-free.

Got any more criticism?  Tongue

I've learned many lessons over the last year and half here in this blockchain world. And one of them is that without fail, no matter what coin your researching, could even be the most popular ones such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dash, Monero, I could go on and on, they ALL have people talking trash about them.

If I had listened to all of them I'd still be trying to find something to invest in. So what I do is look for reasons to invest in a coin, rather than reasons not to, and I've done quite well. Almost everything I invest in makes me pretty good money. But I've never got in this early on anything this good before. Super pumped about that.

Another thing I like about Bitshares is the very long chat history on Bitcointalk, only 3 pages on this particular thread, but 2 other threads with hundreds of communications.

Ok, ya, Waves and Lisk are also very good, I know, and I own a lot of those too, but $6.50 for Waves! And now $3.50 for Lisk! I did not see that coming but that is awesome! Decentralized exchanges are a very hot item right now, and for damn good reason too!

The Chinese know good tech when they see it so I am glad to hear they are diggin it. Now we just need Bitshares new marketing team to do some serious ass kicking in other parts of the world and get this thing up to a dollar at least!

Yeah one more thing using names as addresses. It is easily confusing as I was a victim of sending it to a wrong person. just one letter misspelled it can cause you. Might as well check their interfaces. After two years in hibernation and just a handful of assets. Waves is rocking way better than you. DACs that were not fullfilled and saying they are different team. So who are the members now? Nikolai? Cedric? or Dennis Wang from China?

You can make type on addresses too, people lost tons of eth that way.

That's actually why bts uses this symbol system https://i.imgur.com/nhpG4VY.png that's uniquely generated based on user name as well so you can double check by making sure the images match

just a handful of assets

you mean like millions of assets created on waves that do nothing by people bored? we have that too, here's a list http://cryptofresh.com/assets

but unlike waves, we have unique names for assets, but waves do not so people were creating assets using other assets names and trying to sell them for profit easily scamming people - how is that even possible to miss  Cheesy

That's the difference of having decentralized funding that is funding development for bitshares now than centralized funding under control of a few guys at waves.

Feel free to find their githubs and see who contributes. I don't know anything about chinese and russian teams either.

Waves is spending money on advertising without community vote because funding is centralized, which is responsible for any attention, it's definitely not the tech.

Waves isn't even traded on an exchange where shorting it is possible. Meanwhile you can actually short bts on our decentralized exchange, and polo. Just wait for downpressure from that.

Does BTS still apply 5% APR?? Come on convince me to go back I dare you because with the 2 years hiatus you have been since releasing graphene powered 2.0, there is really no big development . This pump makes it so suspicious. How come FMV is not included as an asset? And how is Muse going ? PLAY? Your thread has more projects that has been put to grave than having  a nice feature for bitshares development stuck with DEX ? No plans for innovative smart contracts, smart tokens, sidechains?

Beware this is only temporary... No new features . Those bitcoin-rich individuals from Asia are triggering this pump.

I wasn't here for 2 years. but the pump came far after bts because most used blockchain in existence.

Did you know some projects take years to develop? Wild thought.

Feel free to look over all the proposals gone through. There's even new account model update as recent as few weeks ago and UI update few days ago.

You simply don't know what you are talking about.

I have no idea what fmv, muse, or play are. I'm guessing some third party projects that are not bitshares.

Funny that is, you have made a thread for Bitshares but you have a little background of it or how did the developers conceptualize Bitshares as a Network. Do you consider yourself one of the developers? or a supporter?

Well my instinct says your just a common trader who picked up Bitshares and try to pump it up for no valid reasons.  Explain on this thread what are referring to as EOS. It is not my job to google what does it do. You have to do better than that if you want to really convince other that Bitshares is really having a good track .

I'm just a fan. I barely even have any bitshares myself, I just use the dex. Using the dex doesn't require having bitshares.

I don't care if anyone buys it or not. I'm interested in the fastest tech in the world, hence my interest in this.

I saw there was no proper ann because they focused on making deals like the one posted above in china, so I made one for myself to collect all the resources in one place. It took very little effort.

EOS is a generalized version of bitshares with sidechains and dapps which makes it natively very compatible with bitshares. Will be available on openledger shortly. Details are only now coming out so still lots to be decided. http://eos.io/ https://steemit.com/trending/eos http://imgur.com/a/7lx34

I also like trolling bad projects like centralized waves and centralized eth, which is why I'm talking to you.
