There are some good ideas that you have mentioned but I have to ask.. Why not just make the trading screen emulate Polo ? They have by far the easiest trading section around. You easily scroll and see what all of the alts are doing, nice small tabs (unlike the big ugly ones on the dex). Easily add tools to the trading screen. All the little sliding windows is crap because you can never see what you want. After using for a week or so and figuring it all out I haven't been back. Just put a note in my keepass for my wife to find the BTS there when I die
to me the layout looks identical to poloniex, which is why I'm confused. we're talking about same dex, right? https://bitshares.org/wallet/#/market/OPEN.BTC_CNYTools wise you're probably right, but almost everyone uses external charting for trading from my experience. Also it has to accommodate pretty much infinite trading pairs of every combination unlike limited selection on poloniex so list is larger.

Weird things going on with Poloniex. I got completely off a few weeks ago and it doesn't look like I'm going to have much reason to go back - just the opposite. I hate to badmouth other people, but it is what it is. I've never seen such antagonistic notices before. Very strange.

Ronny from openledger (one of UI, one of gateways, helps several companies integrate with bitshares) had a few comments in chat Ronny Boesing: OpenLedger and BTC/BCC https://blog.openledger.info/2017/07/28/btc-bcc-and-hard-forks-oh-my/Information on OBITS Voting https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,24657.0.htmlOpenLedger FAQ https://steemit.com/openledger/@mtopenledger/openledger-most-frequently-asked-questionsOnce again about support on OpenLedger. PLEASE read this carefully before screaming and complaining about you don't have support. If you need support, do the next: 1. Write to support@openledger.info2. In your letter PLEASE give full information about an issue. If this is question about your transaction, then PLEASE we need to know: your account name, from where it was sent, amount, memo, transaction id or block number. All of these! 3. DO NOT send screenshots with your addresses, tx id and so on. Please copy and paste and send this as text. 4. Send screenshot to us if you have bug or error. You can ask for support in telegram, that's ok. But you should at least mention somebody who is able to help. Serge (@sergenoname) - developer, working directly with gateway, available to help u with open.asset transactions. In case of any problems related with gateway (lost currencies in deposit/withdrawal list, lost transaction, transaction sent by mistake) you can ask him directly for assist. Vadim (@Da99er) - developer, working mostly with frontend. Can help in case of any stucks and bugs in interface. Daria (@dariiap) - common support specialist. She knows answers on most common questions and can asnwer on significant number of question, before any specific specialists. Feel free to contact me. Our specialists are always open and ready to help you in case of any issues. Working hours: 8am - 6pm (UTC+3). In case of emergency, support is available 24/7 through @jotyax, Serge (@sergenoname), Ronny (@ronnyb). And once again. It's the basis currency for blockchain, like including rewards + fees (although through currency pools you can pay fees with some tokens too) Bitshares lets you vote and help fund and change the bitshares network through workers (there's stuff on that in original post) or even just select a proxy to vote for you if you are busy. Bitshares was the first DAC or more commonly now called DAO, before Dash and Ethereum. The entire blockchain works through delegated votes for witnesses as well. http://docs.bitshares.org/bitshares/whatis.htmlYou can also use BTS as collateral to borrow smart coins like bitCNY or bitUSD into existence which are kept at CNY or USD value through smart contracts, redeemable for that much worth of BTS by settling by anyone in their possession. There's fixed number of them total as well. Hope that helps.

At least I wonder about this.
