Do you have social bounty, I think its a good campaign the project

I agree with your opinion that the existence of social bounty will make the project much more recognizable to the people around the world.  Cheesy

I've read the entire topic and so many good questions were asked and they haven't received their answers. You guys are asking for a shitload of money and can't bother to hire a person to answer several dozen questions? The arrogance ....

What's the advantage over Lisk? Lisk is written in JavaScript, a language used in like 99% of websites. What can I do with Nimiq that I cannot do with Lisk?
While Lisk is based on JavaScript, it is not a web-based blockchain! In Nimiq, you browser is a real client to the blockchain, which can do the same things as any full node.
Or as we like to put it: browsers are a first-class citizen of the blockchain.
You can view Lisk rather as a JavaScript-based Ethereum competitor.

How does mining work?I can mine using the browser, but what about the coin i mine?Is there any wallet or similiar?
In the betanet, a wallet is implicitly created for you.  Smiley

Some questions from reddit :

As your code is open source, how you feel about the possibility that a bigger company will make the same thing faster than you ?

When you say you plan to make a visa-nimiq partnership is this just an idea or do you already have some contacts with them that make you think it's actually possible to make a partnership with them ? This is something big for investor to know as your price entry to get token is really high for a project like yours.

Could you also explain how you decide to make 1 nim cost around 15$ for the ICO ?

Also when you say on reddit "but we think we already "hyped" enough to do our token sale and for the moment that's rather important to make sure we don't run out of money" it may seems like you are making this ICO in a rushy way. Is your project really mature or do you still process some questions on how achieve your roadmap ? This is really important question as even if you got millions from people trusting you with just a whitepaper and a beta app, it's a huge responsability for you to not be stuck on the way because of something you didn't plan.

With the money you will get, will you hire more dev in your team or will you keep your team as it is ?

Also as your technology is based on javascript, what would prevent hackers to penetrate your ecosystem though 0 days vulnerabilities from different browsers and take over your system with 51% ?

Do you believe in the 100% safety of web browsers for your whole project ?

These questions have been answered on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Nimiq/comments/6jm2ps/ama_nimiq_worlds_first_browserbased_blockchain/

1:28 minutes left to ICO.There are many qoestions remained unanswered. If NIMIQ is so easy to mine that anyone can mine it in browser, will not they be so cheap? The mining difficulty is one of the factor that determine price

The idea behind the Browser wallet is mainly to reduce technical barriers to newcomers. We are going to use a memory-bound hashing algorithm which has memory latency as its main variable for hasing power. This would mean that each browser stands a chance and leads to a more decentralized Network. But even though we expect browser will stand a chance while mining Nimiq in the Mainnet we also anticipate for miners to build dedicated miners. Mining difficulty is determined by the amount of miners in the network so it would be adjusted accordingly.

Nimiq Browser Miner is just a demo of what the Nimiq Blockchain technology can do.

Nimiq aims for mass adoption by lowering the technical barriers for users, merchants and developers. Nimiq is coded in JavaScript so learning to code with Nimiq is easy. After our launch June 6th our community has already created a Faucet, Explorer and a Wealth Distribution Chart.

1. Webmasters can easily embed Nimiq Network’s Light Clients into their webpages. Content Providers can monetize the time users spend in their site by mining Nimiq with their device’s unused processing power while they browse through the content

I was going to invest, but this changed my mind.

The main idea behind the Browser Wallet is not to actually use it to mine but to lower the barriers of newcomers. Just by opening a Webpage you are part of the Nimiq Network.

Most users feel this could be a very positive usecase as it would lead to Content Providers reducing their Ads. We strongly believe that a clear consent from the users should be asked in return, like the case of the Betanet Miner.

We would love to hear your negative input regarding this usecase  Smiley
