If we look at ETH in 2017 and now, we can say that almost nothing has changed, but if all plans at ETH are implemented, we can see in 2 years ETH with PoS Mining.

   Main question is will there be more people interested in Ethereum than we have now? If the answer is positive we can say that Ethereum
in next 5 years will increase it's price significantly.
   PoS or PoW? What is better? For many people it's PoS, less electricity, you don't need special equipment, it's easier to set it up. Maybe
Ethereum is making a great move with this change, but only time will tell is it like that or not.

5 years is a very long time. A business that needs time to invest. I don't have the budget to make plans that long. However, I am still trying to make medium term investments. I think the price of Ethereum will be over $ 1000 after 5 years.

There are lots of such price prediction coming, but only time will tell where ETH is heading. 2.0 should bring some positive changes and for this year I am expecting ETH to hit $600

I like to see what happens when most projects leave ethereum blockchain to theirs this year. I can not understand the desire for most projects to have their blockchain, at the moment we know the level of security of ethereum compare to any one. Actually it has had quite a few big updates,,, the biggest one in fact was not just an update but a total rollback to create a fork now known as ETH.

I will agree though that since, it has proven that it is not just a scam coin but a serious platform, something ETC unfortunately did not reach in terms of share of pie. But I think in the ETH 2.0 future, ETC can coexist in an even bigger way.

true we can only wait for the moment where ethereum prices can rise in price as before, the issue of how many years it takes seems like no one will know, but we can see the development of ethereum from their social media

@sniveling. It might take more than 2 years, I reckon. I predict delays and more delays added on more delays. Also, Ethereum 2.0 has been invented already. There are multiple forms of it. EOS, Tezos, Chainlink, Cardano, Tron, Neo, Cosmos hehehe.

EOS is ETH 2.0? Tezos? I'm no ETH fanboy no matter what but you seriously can't say that EOS or Tezos have been through a shred of what ETH has in terms of complex testing, development and even real case use. Maturity can't be bought or created, it has to go through huge amount of testing and trials. EOS wow. Some people really love their magiccoins.

Complex testing and real use case? What complex testing? Did they do compex testing when Parity locked its own coins? Also, what real use case is there? Ethereum cannot scale. All the projects made in there are projects like in a science fair hehehe.

Maturity? Is that why they are rebooting their project into Ethereum 2.0?
