I heard some folks on Quora that bitcoin is going to die but blockchain is the future. What do you guys think of this?
That is hoax. Bitcoin will never die I promise it. There is no reason that bitcoin will die in the cryptocurrency world. That is really impossible that the bitcoin will die. The bitcoin is really important in the crypto world. |

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Funny that even those who should know believe too that Bitcoin would die. It is very unlikely unless it's killed by crooks, with every resources at their disposal - which is still unlikely..will not be easy to kill
It will only EVOLVE and keep evolving to the end of time.
Wouldn't be surprised if developers adopt the Ethereum model just to stay ahead of future competition. Bitcoin could end up being Ethereum, Moneroe and Bitcoin put together.

Not just in quora, even here in bitcointalk you can read post predicting that bitcoin will die. But you have to act on what you believe about bitcoin and blockchain and not what the noise tells you. There will always be fud posts like that Such noise is still affecting your trading (investment) decisions This is the whole scheme or approach behind fear, uncertainty, doubt. It doesn't need to be logical or based on strong facts or on any facts at all (rumors fit in here perfectly) since it is set to affect feelings ("the irrational"), not solid reasoning as such. Simply because many people have to make decisions when they don't have complete info and thus lack complete confidence, this tactic remains pretty successful. That's why we see so many shills sticking around the forum |

Why not tell them to sell their Bitcoin, It had been many years since this propaganda bitcoin is going to dies stuff started and yet bitcoin had been going strong. In fact price had increased exponentially even with this kind of news. Probably they are spreading FUD to catch all the cheap bitcoins out there. |

Do you have see history of cryptocurrencies in the past 10 years? Bitcoin have very more time look like as died, but it not, why? Because user in the World's will not let anyone or country can do that, they will buy all Bitcoin when the price fall down and restore the price to real value very soon!

This rumors are always present, ever since the Bitcoin has appeared. I remember they were saying this is just an experiment, it will not last, it will fail until tomorrow and similar. And Bitcoin is still here. It can change and transform but it will not die.
The only purpose of these rumors is to spread panic.
ive always heard it from many people at many times, i think as long as they think that bitcoin will die soon, it will live for more years to come, bitcoin overcomes many problems , from scratch to riches it improves itself to ours, i think there were no permanent thing in this world but we can earn bitcoins for many years to go because it can now face them all issues and challenges. |

Many people who said that bitcoins will be died, up to day bitcoins is alive still number one in world of digital coins The blockchain is good especially blockchain of ethereum that gives smart contract, many beneficial of blockchain and had been adopted by corporations on their business and i like that. |

I have heard this rumour since I knew bitcoin, this rumour is spread by the person that doesn't like bitcoin, bitcoin is not that easy to die, there are so many users that spread in all over the world, unless something serious like security breach, bitcoin will never die and with the price keep on rising, it proves that bitcoin become stronger

If so that's fine because it's the technology and adoption of the blockchain that's most important. HOWEVER. I don't think Bitcoin is going to die, the community is way too passionate about it and it's growing everyday.

Oh, some folks on Quora said that? Then sell sell sell, it is definitely going to die if they say so! I think that Blockchain is the future, but Bitcoin is the original blockchain, I would be surprised if Blockchains take over the world, but Bitcoin is somehow dead in the water. It 'could' lose it's number one spot, but if it is worth $10,000 and isn't number one, I think I could live with that. Nice call. People tend to forget that BTC is the legendary coin that first introduced the block chain technology. Of course some alts are better than BTC that's why alts are created but BTC is still reigning in the top I think that because even if they first heard about altcoins they will know BTC too and because BTC is the coin, the myth the legend they will invest on it making its demand much larger. And 10000$? That price is a dream to me and I'm satisfied if BTC is only third or 25 on the list if it has that price.Me too. Really, why to be against that situation when other crypto holders make more money than bitcoin holders if bitcoiners make a lot too? What we can say for sure is that bitcoin will not die and that probably it will rise compared to USD, but we can't say whether it will always be number one crypto. |

there is big chance that maybe happen in the future, transaction fee is so large now, and lot of payment site need at least > 3 confirmation, it's so lame, people nowadays want faster technology, we take example like smartphone, people need faster camera capture, faster boot time, no more lag, FASTER OF EVERYTHING ! *Sorry if there is mistake with my english |
