So where can I store ICO tokens that are built on Ethereum ERC20 Tokens
I know of Myetherwallet but its confusing to me.
I know you can send the ErC20 tokens to any Ether wallet, but where would i see the breakdown of how many I have in a wallet?

You can see breakdown of your holdings in myetherwallet. If it's not added by myetherwallet you can add it manualy

I do send my ICO token to my trading platform ethereum wallet. I do think this the best thing to do as it makes it easier for me to follow my token earning. Poloniex account is one of the safest account you can have as most of the coins that are at the ICO level will definitely going to be trade at poloniex.

IMHO Myetherwallet is a good choice. If you can find you token there, You can simply manually add it. Just click add token on right menu then punt the ticker, the contracted address and its decimal points usually 8 digits. Also, you can view it in its ethplorer.io

For beginners myetherwalet is more than enough. Bear in mind that your wallet is not actually on their site, their website is just a gateway through which you create a wallet. Therefore you can do the safest thing and use it as a cold storage paper wallet. I think Ledger Nano-S can hold ETH based tokens, but that's only if you're looking for something more advanced.

Both Ledger Nano S and Trezor work with MyEtherWallet to hold private keys; really the safe way to use any browser based wallet.

Well at first I was really confused on myetherwallet to and I tried to search about something that I don't understand about this wallet, And also tried to ask my friends and after that I pretty much understand how to set it up how to manually add up some tokens.

i think myetherwallet is the best option for you to send your tokens because i remember with my TIME tokens that already send into myetherwallet too and i don't have any problem with the wallet. maybe you are confusing with the fee because the fee is using different names, right? i think you need to find by yourself how much eth if you convert your gas.

If you are planning to save the coins for the long term then do not risk your coins by storing them in exchanges or online wallet,i think the best and the easiest way to store your coins is myetherwallet ,it is the simplest form of storage by giving the user complete control over your coins.

Myetherwallet is easy to use and easy to understand,, you just create your wallet there ,, and save the private keys on safest place,, you can see your token by clicking Show All Tokens button there so what make you confuse with that ?

I also use MyEtherwallet as it seems the most promising to me but I still need to look into the best and simplest ways to secure the wallet as I saw that there are more and more attacks where keyloggers are used - so probably offline creation and ledger

IMO, myetherwallet is good. If you can't see your tokens in the show all tokens, you have to add the token details. Usually the ICO will have details on how to add or you can contact the developers for instructions. It is actually quite simple and only take 1 minute to add the token.

If you don't want to sell it and just want to hold it for long term myetherwallet.com will be the best wallet to use to store your ERC20 token. first you just need to download the file and save the private key if you want to use it
