Now balance is zero, have to wait a few hours or so until it comes back and no way to broadcast a transaction what-so-ever. Any advice?
Your best options are to wait out until temporary network problems clear, or try running your own server wallet from https://github.com/Heat-Ledger-Ltd/heatwallet/releases

Could you explain what happened though? Things have been working sluggish for a week now, what was the cause and how can we prevent it?

YOUR EXCHANGE IS NOT WORING. Shut it down or at least tell people not to use it because IT IS NOT WORKING.
I am trying to buy for 24 hours now. Already lost 60$ only for the fees and the price already doubled. Gonna have to pay another 20$ fees to get my BTC out of this crappy "exchange"
So how will you give me back my money that I lost because you didn't communicate that your exchange is not working?

Advise: Stay away from this project, looks like a scam. (At least the https://heatwallet.com exchange is a scam for sure, because they are not telling people that it is not working so they deposit and withdrawl again after they see it is not working and the devs keep the withdrawl fees.)

I agree sell all this shit and taking all the btc

YOUR EXCHANGE IS NOT WORING. Shut it down
Decentralized exchange can NOT be closed down through any means other than shutting down internet itself.

Network problems are caused by fault in recent server code updates. This is an inherent risk in decentralized networks, which every crypto suffers from time to time. Because of the distributed nature of the code running around the world it takes time to clear them out. HEAT will work fine again in some days, with any temporary discrepancies fixed automatically, or later on with our help in adjusting code in future releases.

Appreciate your reply, my problem seems to be solved now and I was able to exchange and transfer my funds. Thank you!

I will withdrawl as soon as possible (will earn those greedy bastards another 0.002BTC for nothing) but my funds are still locked...

I hope you're using the latest desktop wallet and not the website itself. I was having the same issue while using the website but my problem solved when I downloaded the latest wallet from GitHub, installed it and used it to make transactions. I hope it helps!

User VonGraff has been paid 5000 HEAT reward for finding and reporting a serious server bug in private a few weeks ago. Thanks and congrats once again!

We wish all HEAT hodlers and followers Merry Christmas and look forward to establishing a smooth base for all scalable environment friendly crypto projects towards the beginning of 2018.

The root of the block chain is a consensus. If there is no influential community, there will be no strong public opinion basis. At present, most of the block chain projects fail to achieve the leading opportunity of scale because they have not done well in the community reserve.  HEAT community construction seems far from enough.

In addition to cryptopia, you can contact these exchanges with bigone.com, Huobi, zb.com, and I hope that HEAT can be listed on more exchanges in 2018.

rest assured that our funds are safe, even if you can't find any relevant record :-)

wait for 24 hours, if transactions still didn't go through it will time out, and your funds will come back to you.

Happened to me earlier too
