At this point I wouldn't worry about the price dropping, even if it flash crashes to zero. I can't say for exchanges other than Bittrex, but take a look at the buy column on Bittrex BTC/SNT market. There is only 25 BTC to 1 SAT. That's insanely low, but not surprising. The SNT market has been slow this last month as few people are selling at these low prices, which means buyers have been pulling their buy orders and moving their money to other faster moving markets. With such weak resistances on the buy side, it doesn't take much to push the price down. One or two sellers could drop the price a fair amount, but that certainly doesn't indicate a massive tidal wave of selling. Daily volume is more important than price, buy everybody always focuses on price.
One important thing to remember with the alt coin scene is with so many coins listed on exchanges, the available bitcoin/ethereum chasing each coin is spread thin. Buyers do not like keeping buy orders in slow moving markets. That creates scenarios where flash drops can occur, but is not necessarily indicative of the health of the project. Look at SNT today. All because Bitcoin went up a couple hundred dollars, SNT drops 20%. Someone wanted to cash out, so they sold. Doesn't mean SNT is doomed. SNT is an active project with big announcements supposedly coming around the corner. Once some upward momentum begins in this market, you'll find the money will start chasing it and that will snowball into volume.
Congratulations to whoever is picking SNT up at these prices. Wish I had some funds to divert to it.
Thanks for your pre-mature congratulations.  I have expected some bashing from people that sold all their SNT, calling it a scam. It's a bit painful to look at blockfolio right now. Luckily it had been worse earlier. |

Bitcoin is heading for a fork on Oct 25 and I hear that BTC will most likely spike so the alts will probably dip. I will buy more SNTs after the fork.

SNT is really testing people nerves, with this kind of project and support they have to work better than this. i saw 233 BTC buy at bitrrex at 650ish sat still going deeper and deeper. i was start to follow this market price when it was 1400ish at agust its bleeding but people keep investigate it, cant understant the logic here its hardly 500+ now divided 4 times already

Not only is Status Network a good project, it is also a very rich one. If you already heard about SNT's ICO several months ago, it is a picture of a very successful one, gathering up a big deal of investments. The team is composed of knowledgeable individuals as well. That is why I am trusting that SNT will one day fly high.
I am planning to purchase some Status coin once the price goes down more. I've been looking to make money on this coin though it has a weird price movements. |

I'm taking a look at the asks list in the book order and I'm convinced that whoever is doing this is the developers.
For Status Network to reach 2500 sat it will need more than 1000 bitcoins, that is, over $ 4,571,501.72
The current marketcap is $ 177,131,410.
They are dumping the more than 3 billion tokens they have in exchange. They are using bot for this.
Most sell orders are small but steady volumes. Each of these being carried out every 10 seconds on average end up turning into large volume.
The bots provide small amounts also in each sat. Anyone who is doubting can log in to Bittrex and see all the sats in the asks of the order book. Practically everyone is filled with some request.
First time I see something like that and I do not believe it's a whale.

If July turns out to be bullish, which probably will be, I wouldnt stay out of this one now.
Atleast not fully, maybe have some spare change and buy in more as it dips, IF it dips. Not listed yet in all coinsites and sure could have had the perfect launch-time of all these late ICOs

I want to sell all my SNTs now and re-buy them when they drop even further. This will increase the number of SNTs that I'm holding.
We still have 2 weeks before 1 August and I'm expecting the prices to fall even further.
How low do you think the SNT will go?

It's normal logic, but no one can tell how market would react. The big news is believed to be released in DevCon3, early Nov. Meanwhile, I just nearly double my tokens in this dip. Wish somehow get more fund. Should I rob a bank or something? |
