I'm definitely interested to get a few of these to give out as presents to get people interested in Bitcoin.
Have you thought about doing something similar with the K16 board? I'd be interested in a few of them as well if you were selling them assembled.

You probably need the buy the chips first and send them over to the assemblers.
I fail to see why no one wants to supply like you know, a FINISHED WORKING PRODUCT?!

Even sweeter would buy if the price inclusive Vat under 0.2 BTC. If not massively overpriced I reckon the price will be in fiat for these. ASICminer doesn't have to worry about btc prices since they're overcharging SO much in the first place!

I fail to see why no one wants to supply like you know, a FINISHED WORKING PRODUCT?! Because the people designing the USB miner (allten, bkkcoin) don't have the BTC to make the minimum 10,000 chip order from Avalon? Anyway there are so many threads on the front page which will allow you to find the chip suppliers, designers and assemblers.

Hm yeah it's just a pain and who do you go to if the product explodes, doesn't turn on or fails after minutes? Likely left with no comeback so I'll be waiting for something that is as close to plug and play/verified working as possible. Especially seeing the state some of the Avalon miners are arriving in, not sure if I'd trust ordering chips straight from them!

The assemblers are offering warranties and I don't quite understand you regarding chips from avalon. If you don't trust them, then what chips are you going to use?
