The Veltor/Alvalor swap is happening in 2 weeks. 10% of Alvalor is going to Veltor holders.
Btw I started this Topic, but my Geenstijl account got hacked. So it's no longer in my power t moderate
In 2 weeks? Is this the word from the team officially?

Yes it has been announced in the Telegram Group by Keller Barnette himself. People will be able to swap the tokens untill the airdrop takes place.
I expect comparable prices to all time high. The team is no longer Anonymous and they got really good network of potential partners.
A market cap of 200k is a joke for this project.

We are increasing our allocation from 10% to 20% of Alvalor tokens for the Veltor swap. This decision has been made due to us abandoning the ICO plans and which is replaced with an Ethereum airdrop.

That's what the investors actually wanted in the previous Veltor thread So now the ICO fund allocation problem has been solved, and a lot more progress and development on the project has been made +1!

If scalability is solved before others, it is significant for all of crypto currencies.
I am not very literate in golang, but the alvalor structure on github is intriguing.

Can i see a breakdown of the allocation in full?? SO as a veltor holder we will share 20% (better than 5% so thumbs up for that) Where does the other 80% go? Why should veltor holders give a shit about ethereum holders being given the alvalor tokens? Airdrops suck btw makes it look worthless. I thought the entire point of taking 80% away from veltor investors was to raise capital for investment?

It will mean that alvalor will be extremely distributed. 95% of the recipients won't have enough funds to find it worthy to put in effort to send it to an exchange. Anywho, read the vision paper, join telegram and you will realize the potential here.

As for your question: Why should veltor holders give a shit about ethereum holders being given the alvalor tokens? You don't have to give a shit. Alvalor is a different project from Veltor. Just because they want to reward Veltor holders by swapping them, doesn't mean you have to participate to coinswap at all. You can also stick with Veltor and hope that someone will pick it up and develope it. As for myself i think that Alvalor rewarding eth holders is a good idea for attracting right people.

@o48o must say that I agree, I was thinking the same thing lately. First yobit is the exchange who is hard to reach so no matter what dev asks them to change they don't listen 100%. We have situation where was swap for some coin they had listed, after developers contacts them they add new coin but don't remove old one before swap. For example you still have VEC and VEC2 there. No matter that there will be avalor, veltor will still be listed there, it will be still possible to mine and maintain. Leaving veltor and making avalor was very bad decision by the team and now they are trying to fix this but instead they killed complete concept and lost community support. By now veltor could have huge price so no ICO or in fact anything else would be needed. Right now situation is that team could only play short memory game hoping that everyone here will forget about what happened earlier. Best solution is that dev team made crucial decisions and get back to the supporters here and finally starts listening. Without community support everything will fail. After all veltor and avalor can coexist same way like dual blockchain, same way vericoin and verium exists but with some other approaches.

Dual blockchain? I don't think i understand what you mean. Alvalor has really nothing to do with Veltor now or later. But yeah, they can coexist in same way any coin can coexist with it. And about community backing the coin; with airdropping to eth holders, community can be huge. I am all for Alvalor and can't wait to get rid of my Veltor for it. But you do as you wish. I haven't seen any developer stepping up for developing Veltor yet. If someone does, you could win big with it. But this is going to be a one time chance you are getting to swap it.

I wonder how many veltor holders have forgotten about their stake. There seems to be hardly any selling and the coin is completely off the radar. The price has gone so low. Possibly, only half of the veltor will get swapped meaning you would get a 100% extra bonus.

So as I understood 20% of the coins are going to be divided among those who swap their Veltor tokens through the designated portal. The remaining 80% will be airdropped among all holders of Ethereum.
That will make the distribution of Alvalor probably pretty decentralized. If the exact date of the swap is announced I will also publish it in the OP.

Alright. The Veltor to Alvalor swap is now seriously close. See below the video with the instructions. ETA: Tomorrow. Alvalor Token allocation: 20% goes to Veltor holders who swap. 20% will be airdropped to ETH holders 20% will go to the team 40% will go to the project (bounties, development, research, etc.)
There will be no ICO. So there are two ways to get a 1% share of the new Alvalor token: 1. get 5% of all Veltor tokens. 2. get 5% of all ETH tokens.
