maybe to keep your bitcoin in safe you need to take one or three wallet address and dont put your coin in one address. .beacause hacker is more way to bypass your account...
Keeping your money save it’s a responsibility that people have to take for the sake of their further and its really not difficult now to save your bitcoins as I would like to suggest online wallet since as many people are using from so long. I mean from the start time when bitcoin invented I found it safest than others because I can access it anywhere and anytime as long I have my internet connection. Actually most of people will suggest you to get cold storage since its not hack-able. So and online wallet is also a good option. For me hard ware wallet will be still the safiest to choose if you heard trezor its immune to viruses and keylogger protected.. And ledger nano s is one of the good hardware also and immune to viruses.. If you are holding different cryptocurrency ledger nano s is one of the good choice to hold other altcoin and trezor if you planning bitcoin only..

I think you need to secured all your bitcoin wallet that is the best thing you can do. Stored in a secret your seed or note it and get a 2FA for a safest way. My bitcoin stored in blockchain and xapo. I think they are secured.
I agree with you, 2fa security is the most powerful way to keep and secure our bitcoin pieces, because by using 2fa only 2fa code holders can open and conduct transactions in our wallet, 2fa is a high level security that is not in doubt its security yea I agree with him. 2 factor can give highly safte.

Did you heard the story of a burn building in London? Cause of the fire a guy lost 1000+ BTC which were in his paper wallet. So I would not call a paper wallet as 100% protected after such case. Yes, the possibility that it will happen to you is a little, but...
If you put it that way, then no form of cold storage would help in such situation, unless you have the paper wallets or engraved metals with your keys stored in a safe that can withstand insane temperatures. I am quite up to date with the latest Bitcoin related news, but I haven't heard anything about someone losing 1000 BTC due to the fire in London -- mind sharing an article link?

If you wanted to secure your bitcoins, you need to have a cold storage which is i think the best or the safest one. In my case im only using an online wallet such as coinbase and blockchain, yet im planning to transfer it to cold storage really soon.

Using a hardware wallet such as the trezor is the most convenient, safe way to store your coins. Use a cold storage wallet such as armory with an offline PC if you have hardware to spare and don't want to purchase anything new. Either way, keep backups in at least two different locations. Anecdotally more safely stored coins get lost due to lack of backups than due to attacks. And never use online / web wallets as a savings account. Even with 2Factor and strong passwords there are just too many factors that can go wrong.

The safest way to keep bitcoin is in a cold storage wallet. Prime example would be a trezor, there is no other more effective method for storage.

i think the safest way to keep your bitcoin is by using hardware wallet because it is not like the web wallets which is completely connected to the internet. Hardware wallet could be use either offline or online, the only time your going to use it online is when you are going to send out transactions to other wallets so that it could not be easily hack

Safety is much important when it comes to cryptocurrency. Because it has only the virtual presence as well everything is interlinked in one or the other way. So finding a right place to keep the bitcoins is a big problem and now this has been made easier by different wallets available with several safety features. Online as well offline wallets were available, we are the one to research and find the best for our needs.

Making a paper wallet while offline is one solution, but I personally prefer using a hardware wallet. It's just alot less prone to damage/tampering. Lookup trezor, ledger nano, and keepkey. They're some good stuff.

Make more than one wallet I think and don't put your bitcoin in just one wallet. Atleast if someone hack your account you still save something.

Actually, the safest way to keep your bitcoin is to store it in online wallet because you can a sure that your bitcoin is totally safe and secure. In addition to that, if you use online wallet try to put some private key so that no one will try hack it or to stealth it. However, some people prefer to use the hardware wallet that will help to keep their bitcoin safe.

The safest way of keeping bitcoins safe is go for desktop wallet like Electrum, which gives you full rights to use anyway and holding the private keys for bitcoin address is good but in web wallet your wallet is in control of the site owner. So it is not good to keep bitcoin in web wallet and exchange also.
Electrum is a digital wallet since 2011 so it has some reputation on storing btc. But I think if you don't want your coin online and store it like gold and money, cold storage is the best way to do that. The safest way ever is set up an offline computer with linux, install a wallet downloaded on another pc and make a new address while being offline. Send your coins from all your wallets/addresses to that offline wallet, create a backup copy and store them on a USB drive and boom! You've got yourself a perfectly safe offline storage with a backup in case the computer got damaged or stolen.
Nice advice. I've heard that Linux can be a library that you can arrange what you can do meticulously, but I don't have an experience yet on Linux so I will give this a try.

that are properly generated offline and securely stored are immune to hacking . The idea is you never enter the private key into a networked computer until you're ready to spend the Bitcoin, and even then you can sign the transaction on the offline computer and transfer it to an online computer for transmission using software like Armory. The only way they could be compromised is by physically stealing the printed private key, or perhaps a weakness in the cryptography.

Use an offline storage, on a secure disc, never use online wallet. Encrypt your wallet, and put the paraphrase in the safebox only. Don't trade often with your saving account.
