It can be but i do not think so because even experts and people of wall street said that it will be the future and every billionaire invests in bitcoin and they make a lot out of it if they trust why shouldn't we trust it we all so want to make money out of it.

That's the spirit! Me too I don't think its going to happen anytime soon. As long as people won't stop using bitcoin it will not ended up like Yahoo. Bitcoin will survive since its the best cryptocurrency ever.

Yahoo was the first (?) search engine at the time when Internet started.  It was the pioneer in its field.  In the late 90's its market cap reached to a high closed to $120B.   Three and a half years after Yahoo started, Google came out and gradually took away market share from Yahoo.

After 22 years, Verizon bought it for $4.8B.  Would Bitcoin ending up like Yahoo in the future and got beat up by new competitions?

What do you think?  Please provide your reason(s) to support your view.

Maybe, we never know the future of digital currency but as long as bitcoin is very popular and the demand increases bitcoin will definitely survive.

Bitcoin is very different from yahoo. Bitcoin provides extra income, definitely people will continue to support bitcoin due to some profit and extra income that they can get.

Nothing is certain in this world, though yahoo is much different than bitcoin, but if you are talking about surviving conpetitions, i guess bitcoin has an advantage, the history of bitcoin from its begginning up to present really manifest its tough and firm stature in this kind of competition,  its a work in progress and as time passes, more and more people are getting into bitcoin.

There are a lot of possibilities that will happen in the future, because of the bitcoin's popularity, there will come a time that some crptocurrencies will appear and beat bitcoin. But im sure that bitcoin will survive with all lf these because its investors will not agree if it get down. We all started in it on the first place.

it's very sad to hear yahoo collapse and just get paid that easy, but probably will not happen to bitcoin because bitcoin is a digital currency that is in everyone's eye.

i think it is likely to happen.

Especially, when Bitcoin lost its usefulness such as ease of transactions or widely accepted like ATM machines accessibility and security segwi2

Later on the bitcoins will be a fruitful cryptographic money and after that the bitcoins will be have a ceaseless life in light of the fact that nobody can influence a digital money to like the bitcoins the bitcoins will the future ruler of the economy and it will control all the economy of the world on the grounds that the cost of the bitcoins is expanding ever more elevated quickly so try not to be stressed over the bitcoins on the grounds that nothing can hurt the bitcoins .

Yahoo is different than bitcoin and I think bitcoin can’t be end like yahoo because bitcoin is a digital currency and people are also going to earn here and day by day its going stable and popular in world I believe that world need bitcoin and for that world is trying to make bitcoin more strong then ever so I think bitcoin will survive for ever.

I do not know other still using Yahoo or not, but I'm a user of Yahoo in many years and still using it product until today. It helped me many things and when I need to have a service mail can give me more trust than temp mail for my job, Yahoo is the my choice for store and receive mail. So, I do not think it has ended.

First you're totally wrong. Yahoo wasn't the first search engine at the time when Internet started.

Very bad argument. So many people liked Myspace - but they are left quickly when Facebook came. In the online world, including cryptos, the new reality is that a very large amount of people can leave very quickly causing a crash. The crash is so fast that there is no time to get out of the investment because transaction times becomes very long like we saw last week.

First of all, Bitcoin and yahoo are two different things. Yahoo is a social media platforn while Bitcoin is a digital currency. They are just similar for being used online but since Bitcoin is a currency is has a higher tendency to be more used by people so their future could be different. So as long as there are lots of people who are using it, it won't end up like yahoo.

You are really misguided. Even today, after Yahoo has dropped so much, they have many many more users than Bitcoin. They have 1 billion monthly active users ( https://expandedramblings.com/index.php/yahoo-statistics/ )

Even after the crash Yahoo is much much more used than Bitcoin - which is exactly the opposite of what you are saying. So by your logic the conclusion must be that Bitcoin could develop even worse than Yahoo

In my opinion, Yahoo just failed because it did not improve its system while other companies always changing their system to be bettter.
And Bitcoin is also like Yahoo at the moment, in a certain aspect, the Bitcoin's devs can not comperate together.
They do not have same idea and Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Unlimited, Bitcoin Gold or Bitcoin SegWit2x (Future) ... are the result from this problem.

I think bitcoin will not end like yahoo. Yahoo is well known and used but it can not bring economic benefits to the user. Bitcoin has economic benefits. Bitcoin users can make a lot of money from it.

I don't think that event will happened to bitcoin but it is not impossible to happen. Bitcoin will continue as long as there are users like us in this community. I am not telling that bitcoin will be forever because there is no such thing as forever. Bitcoin will never fall now because of the fact that it is in demand now. Well maybe in the future, the demand will falls down because of something new crypto currency.

Never . Bitcoin is increasingly attracting investors and will soon be listed on the world's largest trading platform. In the future we can see the development of Bitcoin and there will be many new communities born in this market.

The short answer is no, bitcoin has a very good community, they are continuously supporting the development of bitcoin even though they are underestimated at first. But now all that is proven, bitcoin is the strongest virtual currency in the world.
