Are you sure that he do not use bitcoin? Anyways do you want him to buy bitcoin? If he will buy maybe the bitcoin will be extinct and dead for our small time people. He can buy it all and put it into investment. Thank God he did not use bitcoin. And obviously he is too rich to use it.

Well he's been very positive on bitcoin so he probably has some just to mess around and get familiar with the system. But honestly I don't see him investing heavily into bitcoin. The lad has all the money of the world. Does he really need more? Let him live his life he's worked very hard for it.

Hello, I just want to know why Bill Gates do not invest some money in Bitcoin, he will be a very big contributor to the crypto world, and will also be very respected, he will also be able to become more rich (or less). But what is the reason why he do not invest funds in cryptocurrencies?
as far as I know, Bill Gates is already invested in Bitcoin. He is the owner of Microsoft and it is one of the companies that first acknowledged Bitcoin. He is a brilliant investor and he will not let the chance to skip in investing Bitcoin. For him, it is a good opportunity to earn more in the future.

He might be using it only to test it out. He is already rich enough, so I don't think he need to invest in bitcoin. But we do not know for sure.
Bill Gates does not use Bitcoin because he has invested in other projects, he has invested in other cryptocurrencies which are profit. Moreover, maybe he does not want to invest Bitcoin, that's all.

First of all if you are rich doesn't mean you don't want to become richer. Secondly, I don't know why Bill Gates haven't made an investment in bitcoin yet but I remember to have read it somewhere that he showed some interest in bitcoin. He might have some plans to come up with something which might contribute a lot to bitcoin but that's just my guess only But the reverse is also true And may in fact be even truer, i.e. if you become insanely like Bill Gates, earning more money may lose any sense and appeal to you. If you are still young (like Zuckerberg or the Winklevii twins), you may want to pursue other interests where money would play only a secondary role and be a tool (one of the many) of achieving your goal. In this way, investing in Bitcoin is not a very interesting occupation unless you specifically go for profits. So why Bill might be interested in that?

Well i don't really know. But i bet that's because he's rich already? Like why should he invest in bitcoin to make himself richer though. And also, we don't know that. Maybe he secretly invest in bitcoin? Or maybe he doesn't care about bitcoin at all since he already has so many investment. Or maybe he's waiting for the right time to put his money to invest bitcoin.

Bill Gates is rumored to have heavily invested in silver mines, so I can't really fathom that he would be interested in such an asset as Bitcoin despite the fact that he created a company which at least allegedly pushed some innovation (at least, in 80's and 90's). Apart from that, Bitcoin is not closely related to the business of Microsoft (software development), so there is no reason to think that Gates might be interested in Bitcoin just because he was the head of Microsoft

https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/238103It is unclear if Bill Gates does not invest in bitcoin. Even Bill Gates praises bitcoin and he even said that bitcoin is better than fiat currency. He even has integrated bitcoin with Microsoft Office features. This explains that even there are no articles telling us that Bill Gates is investing in bitcoin , his words and support on bitcoin is a clear statement that he probably is investing on this wonderful currency which is the bitcoin. This may be true, if you look at the market cap one year ago you will see that we were close to 10 billion for all the cryptocurrencies we are now at 114 billion that is more than 10 times the previous cap in a year what if some rich people have decided to invest heavily in crypto at this time with the hopes this becomes a trillion dollar market in the future? I will not be surprised if rich men interested in technology were behind this.

Yes, I think because it's too rich man. He not obligated to use bitcoin to be more richer, because why should he invest in bitcoin to make himself richer though? Also, maybe he didn't know bitcoin and even he now it, maybe he didn't know how to use it. Anyways, he is too rich, he can use it like anyone.

Bill Gates has declared himself an active investor and is very concerned about bitcoin development, but he doesn't carry the microsoft name in this regard. There are many reasons why microsoft does not use bitcoins, some of them because the US still doesn't recognize bitcoin as a legitimate payment, bill gates will trip over the problem if applying it.

I wonder why people are answering this like they know if Bill Gate owns bitcoin or not. Maybe I am behind in the news anyway, but I have not seen it anywhere that Bill Gate came out to state that "hey peeps, I do not have bitcoin" OR "I have a wallet loaded with coins". It is his life and decision to make and we all don't know if he has bought some coins for himself or not, so why raise the assumption that because he is very rich, he doesn't have a wallet filled with some bitcoin no matter how little.

Figures like Bill Gates and Warren Buffett are sort of reference points in the world of finances and investments. So if Bill Gates (Warren Buffett would be better) openly declares that he has invested a few million dollars in Bitcoin, that will give a notable and noticeable boost to Bitcoin price (even if due to hype alone). Generic people will justifiably think that if wealthy, experienced investors and businessmen invest in some asset, this asset is certainly worth a dime. I guess many would be ready to pay some buck just to know what Bill Gates (and still more Warren Buffett) personally invests in

Bill Gates is already using Bitcoin! Microsoft was one of the first big companies to accept Bitcoins for their products ( https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/13942/microsoft-account-add-money-with-bitcoin ) The fact that he's not loud about it doesn't mean he's not smart Big companies like Microsoft don't need that money and I'm almost sure that they're storing their Bitcoin profits at least until 2020 ultimately getting a huge ROI for their patience. No, this is case of Steve Ballmer, since he is CEO for now. Bill Gates is probably investing into bitcoin, most billionaires is investing into bitcoin. They don't want to tell about this to world.

Microsoft has a lot of branches around the world and therefore nothing prevents them to accept bitcoins. They are doing it. The US government can dictate terms only in America. However, I don't think Bill Gates invests in crypto. For him it is just extra money. In the crypto currency investing currency speculators. This is their issue.

Are you one of these billionaires or you keep friendship with some of them? Or maybe you just took this straight out of your ass and push it as a sort of fact? And just in case, Steve Ballmer is no longer the CEO of Microsoft (and hasn't been for over three years already). If you don't know that, you likely don't know about billionaires either And what they actually invest in
