Just weak hand people who sell at low than the price they've bought bitcoin.
I say it is fool decision, in hurry, impatient obviously.
Why sell bitcoin if you know it's a loss? Fool decision
Why in hurry to sell it if you know it will rise someday, maybe next day or next week?  Impatient.

I they its a part of their panic selling there's other way to be safe and not losing your investment in trading.. just always set your own margin set different margin from 15% percent increase to 50% and don't change it don't sell your bitcoin if didn't touch in the 15% increase or more so that you don't lose your investment..
People are just follow the trends if they seen the price drop they are panic to sell so always think that if you sell it below the price of bitcoin when you bought you will be lose just don't be afraid and wait for a longer time again to increase back the value because the price of bitcoin is increasing monthly just follow the movement from last year and today you can see that the price of bitcoin is really increased high so just don't sell if the price is low..

Yes, it is very important to sell your bitcoin in high price and buy bitcoin at lower price. If ever that someone did was the opposite thing, there is no profit earned in that. These situation is sometimes caused by panic selling, they think about bitcoin where its price is going to dump again. It is very important to stay calm when doing trading, one wrong move and I am sure that you will be in chaos.

What I am trying to say is do not be exaggerated about the things that you read online. One must not believe easily in anything that he might read or hear. Do not overthink and always do your own research before making any decisions to avoid any negative outcomes.

To control the emotion and to not make the worst mistake which is buy at a high price and sell at lowest, then one should research a coin before buying it and not to buy when a coin is already pumped because most of the time it is just manipulated and therefore will result into a loss. If one trust the altcoin he/she bought or bitcoin, then just wait for it to pump again and stop doing the stop loss strategy because it could mean loss when there is pumped again in the near future. A good example of this is lisk. Way back it reached 0.0005 BTC each from 0.001 BTC and others have done the stop loss strategy which is to buy high and sell low, but now it is at 0.00126837 BTC according to coinmarketcap so if they waited they could have had a profit of at least 0.00026837 BTC per lisk they own.

That would be the basic things would provably do for those traders who wants to earn but the sad truth sometimes that mostly does newbie on this kind of industry are doing some dumb decision when they see that there are little bad movements happening on their bought tokens. That's the problem, I've read pretty much experienced from people(beginners) who trading, mostly they watch the graphic all day, actually some of them know mostly news feed recently and could be already made a technical analysis too, but I don't know why they still watch the graphic all day, feel hesitant? Could be.

Well it feels good to make some technical analysis before investing or buying for day trading purposes. However TA in cryptoworld have like %1 chance to actually work. I think watching the markets closely, like every day gives you a better idea if the coin is being accumulated. If you see small sells to push down the price yet big sell walls gettig bought in seconds, it kinda tells you that a group of people are trying to accumulate as much as they can. I personally first like the idea and start watching its market.

Indeed. "Buy low, sell high" sounds very simple doesn't it? But I think most traders actually do the opposite. They often buy in when the crypto is on the rise, and sell in on the way down.

How do you control this? Plan your trades. Decide on and set a certain price where you're planning on buying. Don't let your emotions take control of you.

Also, be active on bitcoin news. There are tons of websites that can provide that. Google is your friend.  

I agree. Some players usually buy when the crypto is on the rise, and sell when it's on the way down because they're influenced by peers, and of course, as mentioned here, their emotions. It happens to newbies and some relatively new players.

It'll be good to learn more about crypto trends by reading bitcoin and altcoin news, and then checking out the charts to figure out highs and lows for the day and the week, I guess. We won't be experts at it overnight but we learn it and harness skills day by day.

Choose a cryptocoin you're more familiar with, and then start with that. Watch out for trends and pretty soon, you'll be able to spot when to buy and when to sell. Buy low, sell high

In terms of altcoins, it's definitely a form of gambling since you are basically depending on the moods of the larger players, and the panic from those that respond to what these large players are doing with the market. People are rushing with everything to such extent, that they find it a waste of time to put any sort of effort in gaining trading knowledge -- they just blindly buy and sell hoping they have made the right decision. It's pathetic.

This is exactly what happened to me when I first started my journey into trading that I just ended up losing because of making uninformed decision without knowing the right time to either buy or sell because mist exchange will give statistics of increasing coins based on volume and at that point I am entering could be the time to dump which I ended up losing by selling in other to minimize my losses. The bone of contention is having the right information and losses will be minimized.

I prepare for buy low high sell, it is the concept of trading. Who do you think will sell without any income unless you have no money and it is emergency.

Buying for low price of bitcoin may possible get an income in the future because of being not stable of bitcoin price. Being a good trader may know more information about bitcoin market especially idea from countries and investor that want to invest. Having an information will decide what will do, if you sell or save then wait for the better price.

Why just to newbies? You talk like its easy to know when the price is low and high, well its not. I bought many times and expected price to go up, price went down, many times I sold on some price but I could wait more and make better profit, doing a right trade in a right time is for many of us mission impossible. Its not about control of emotions I have a cool head just my predictions are not so accurate even thou I study market every day, I read a lot about everything. I wonder about what kind of guidance you mean here, its always good when there is someone to tell you what to do, and to give special information's about what will happen next in altcoin world.

In most cases when it comes to altcoins, you shouldn't really blame yourself for going wrong when trading them. It's a market that mainly the market movers benefit from, and after that those that guess right (aka gamblers). If you genuinely try to gain profits with altcoin trading, you'll either need to look for repetitive patterns, or simply do less frequent trading. In some cases it pays off in a better manner if you just buy at x price, and sell at y price a month or two later.

Exactly. Especially of you're new. Don't try to base your decisions on troll boxes as there's a big chance of panic selling at a low price. It's normal that altcoin prices go up and down so almost certainly you can at least sell at break even price. Never ever sell at a lower price than your purchase and hold if you have to.

Perhaps you should change your post to: "Buy low, sell high". But I agree with what you wrote. We need to decide at which point we should sell them. How much percentage of profit is enough for us? For some 10% or 20% may be enough. Some others may aim for 50% or more. And there will be some who are hoping for 1,000% returns.

My strategy will be something like this:

25% will be sold at 25% profit
25% will be sold at 50% profit
25% will be sold at 100% profit
25% to be held for long term
