It seems to me that this will not happen soon. Now the price is highly variable. Nobody knows what will happen tomorrow. We need to be optimistic and believe in the bright future of bitcoin.

If the price has gone up significantly (which has been the case), you'll be expecting even higher increases. But as soon as the price is tanking, you'll turn into a bear directly.

Anything is possible with bitcoins and may be we will be seeing this price in this year itself as many more countries are getting into bitcoins now and if that happens then we can expect much higher price of bitcoins and by next year we will be seeing the price of $10k.

Yes ETH is moving like crazy and nobody expected that it will go so high in recent times but expecting $10k from bitcoins is too high as I don't think we will see that price in next few months or years and we need good patience to hold our coins till it reaches to that value.

Eth is much more unstable than bitcoin, and it is a much worse monetary system with worse initial distribution don't forget that Ethereum was an ICO too.
What is happening now is fact that people are overestimating Ethereum's potential and features, smart contract and daps are great, but are not everything.
Recently even Vitalik Buterin said that he is not certain that ETH will survive in the long run.

Ethereum used for trading and funded projects, never heard about ethereum legalized or being used as a currency to buy daily needs.
Bitcoin has been spread widely and used for various purposes, nonetheless, bitcoin problems about unconfirmed transactions and high fees become obstacles for bitcoin development. After this problems resolved, I believe bitcoin could reach $10,000 in 2-3 years later.

No, it is not correct. You are talking about a SURE x3 in 2-3 years, while it is much more probable a POSSIBLE-BUT-NOT-SURE-AT-ALL x10 in that same period (or for next halving) with a certain risk (I hope minimal) that it just go down from current price or even crashes to almost zero.

It looks, similar, but it is way different. Main difference? If it was a SURE thing I would invest ALL I have into it. Everyone would do. Which btw, would make it much more than x3. But it isn't, it's far from a sure thing.

Also you are referring to past historic prices.... If you do so we would be talking of orders of magnitude higher increase in price.

Bitcoin -cryptocurrencies in general- is a VERY HIGH RISK investment. As such, the ROI can also be astronomical as it has happened until now.

It could be 10 month from now or 10 long years, I believe bitcoin has that potential already in it's core even though some altcoins might steal away a percentage of user base and market cap but bitcoin will remain in top 5 crypto currencies of all times forever.
If somehow price starts to pump higher than $5000 in 2017 I'd say that would be an obvious pump, fake pump and not safe for anyone to buy that.

I think as well that we will hit the 10K level at some point.
For the near future I assume that we will stay at about the level we have right now.

To reach $10000 also still needed a long time and I really do not think if the bitcoin price will reach $50000 and if it happens, it is something very amazing achievement. But, there is a possibility after segwit2x active a prices of bitcoin  will continue to increase.
