I need advice i want to invest in BTC i have about 15k should i do it now? or should i wait til after August 1st just incase the price drops?
Please help me.

If you want to invest in BTC you should do it right now and please don't wait until after August 1. Wanna know why? Because now is the right time as BTC price is low, grab this opportunity now. I believe that bitcoin price would goes up and up after the split. If you invest 15k divide it by three buy bitcoin now for atleast 5k then if price drops buy again worth 5k and wait for the news and monitor the price on August 1 reserve your last 5k for a better timing for you to have a good return.  |

You don't know that there will be 2 sides of bitcoin after it sorts out. When it forks it doesn't necessarily mean that it will split on 2 tokens/coins, it might and it might pull the chain of the lower supported one or it could split. Nobody knows maybe even miners will activate SegWit2x before 1st of August. It is all uncertain. -------- I wouldn't invest now, if I was going to I'd invest small amount. Don't listen and trust unknown persons from the internet as they might be wrong/right. I see that many of them are saying that you should buy. I agree but a portion of it I myself wouldn't buy much at this point as we don't know where will it end. Just be ready to lose your investment or even to gain something, it is risky thats why it is profitable. |

If you have 15k dollars I suggest to you to buy bitcoin because possible price before the end of this year 2017 around $4000-$5000 . So dont wait the date of august 1 before you buy because the price for sure will hit 3000-3500 in the month of july 2017. But before buy bitcoin make a research to make sure your money is safe for any losing. But if you undecide I suggest buy your half of money today and buy again in august.

You can also buy bitcoin with half of your money and the other half, you can reserve if the price goes down on august 1. It is safer than spending it all now and more profitable than making your money idle while waiting for August 1.

If you are worried about the Bitcoin bubble explosion. You can buy bitcoin now at $2500, and sell it to USDT coin at $3000, wait for the explosion to drop upto $1500. Then buy all at the bottom. Once you get a the discounted bitcoin at $1500 you dont have to wait Bitcoin to reach $3000 again. Just buy the major altcoins like $ETC to get profit. I need advice i want to invest in BTC i have about 15k should i do it now? or should i wait til after August 1st just incase the price drops?

For sure we dont know what will happen in august 1 so many people as of now is undecided if they buy bitcoin or not . Because of that the price will stock and I hope it will move back again and for sure many investor will invest again in bitcoin after august 1 but if you want to invest now invest because possible the price of bitcoin reach 3500 dollars before end of july.

No one knows what will happen so finding a accurate answer here is not possilble. There are only two scenarios that will happen to bitcoin price, to increase or to decrease. Now what if it's will decrease? You will lose some but can still sell those left. What if it's increase then your buying pays off. Risk some money mate to know what will be the result. Here's how to make money if only doing the buy low/sell high system. I guess people will have panic selling on August 1 so the price will get lower. So better wait until august one but there is no assurance with that now.  But if you can buy now better buy then sell it on August 1 because the price will get higher. All in all, there are more chances of high price than the low price so better not sale. |

It depends on you. But in my opinion, it's better to hold for years specialy there is a segwit activation that can make bitcoin to flactuate. We are looking forward for this project and hope that it succeed. |

Yes you better wait a while until we can see what happened on the 1st of August. 15K USD is a huge amount and I do not think you want to regret spending 15K USD and get unsatisfactory results later. |

yes i am suggesting to waiting until august then we can buy bitcoin because i think for now, many people is holding their bitcoin and altcoin and want to see the new price or for the up and down of the bitcoin price. but whatever your decision, i think you should be careful if you still want to buy right now and make sure you can buy in bottom price. |

I think that the upgrade will not affect the price to go down. I think that bitcoin will go up and up. Maybe sometimes will have small downs, but after all i think that price will rise

The august is still far away and you don’t have any idea what will happen int he mean time. Better get bits now, as it will be still profitable even though price drop because later it will go up for sure.

I think you should wait. There will be a huge event on that day and will affect bitcoin depending on the outcome. If you are waiting for the dip to have the buy oppotunity then better wach what will happen. |

Never invest more than you are willing or able to lose, Bitcoin is a very risky investment and you should keep in that in mind at all times. After buying Bitcoins make sure to move them into your own personal wallet and never leave them at the exchange. My personal recommendation is to use a hardware wallet to store your Bitcoins. If you can’t afford a hardware wallet, try a paper wallet. Make sure to buy Bitcoins only from exchanges that have proven their reputation. Buy Bitcoins through Dollar cost averaging, this means that you don’t buy all of your Bitcoins in one trade but instead buy a fixed amount every month, week or even day throughout the year. These are my personal idea.

Bitcoin price is expensive now if you want to invest. Actually in this kind of investment it is risks because bitcoin price is volatile it may dump to what we didnt expect or it will pump high of the current price now. But one thing is for sure, lets invest on what we can afford to buy. I must say think before you invest, then buy if you can afford and hold bitcoin for the future. |

You can continue acquiring Bitcoins if you want, but in my opinion it would be safe to have your private keys with yourself.
Now if you are thinking about price drop, it may happen or may not. Its better to buy some now and if it falls after August, just buy some more.
Whatever you do, BTC won't let you down, the fall will be temporary, but it will rise again.
