Actually is not that bad. After looking over the BBQCoin wallet code on GitHub I discovered a few cool facts about BBQCoin. First BBQCoin is going to make way more than 88 million coin. The hardcode limit is 4.2 billion but it will be impossible for it to ever reach that amount. So here are the basics. BBQCoin generates 42 coins per block, with 1 block every minute. This reward is halved every 24 million blocks. It will take approximately 45 years to reach block number 24 million. At that time there will be around 1,008,000,000 total BBQCoin in existence. On block 24 million +1 the reward will go to 21. There is a link to a simple spreadsheet that gives a better visualization of this. It will take about 300 years to get to 2 billion coins! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Au8P3xZa8774dDhld2EwOFBPN0VmdlpEb2RLTFMxZ0E&usp=sharingWhat does this mean? Not too much actually. BBQCoin generates coins very slowly (half the speed of feathercoin) and the added supply over time wont harm anything. In fact you could argue that it is a beneficial feature. The supply will continue to expand helping reduce deflation and miners will be rewarded for ever. Feel free to comment and let me know what you think. reference: https://github.com/overware/BBQCoin/blob/master/src/main.cpp Line 833 https://github.com/overware/BBQCoin/blob/master/src/main.h Line 35 Back to the BBQ Mines, -bigdaub

Think on the bright side. Mining difficulty is low BTW - BBQCoin's First Birthday is next month. What should we do to celebrate?

did you tell figroll about? unfortunately i have no rights to change it @ github... figroll was the first to know. We have two options. 1. Accept it and move one. 2. Change it and hardfork the blockchain. If we do decide changes are necessary, the hardfork should be utilized to make other improvements. Here is a hardfork wishlist the Bitcoin devs have been so kind to make for us. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Hardfork_Wishlist

We totally need more support from members like yourself to get this coin value up where it is supposed to me. I am going to think about offering bounties for websites that take BQC as a form of payment and also for a payment processor similar to Bitpay.com, maybe altpay.com :-)

With all us of working together we can get a lot done. Along with an online payment processor we need a mobile wallet. First a fork of litecoinj to bbqcoinj then fork the android wallet. I will throw 25K BBQ to a bounty for that. https://github.com/hank/litecoinj https://github.com/hank/litecoin-walletMaybe we can sweet talk ralree into doing this

Okay so. You do understand I made 2.0BTC off a stash of 30k I had of this shitcoin. Maybe you should let it sink again then bring up your new hardfork later. WWE style shit. BBQ Coin could be like the Cactus Jack of the crypto world

When a bounty for a litecon mobile wallet was posted on March 5, 2013 for 307.79 LTC + 0.063 BTC, Litecoin closed at 0.00777 BTC. That equaled exactly 2.3978283 BTC. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=157932.0;all

I understand the need for Android wallets but when they have them what do they do with them? We need merchants and websites that take bbqcoin as payment, otherwise we cannot use the wallets for anything other than storage.

The old chicken or egg dilemma.... If a web based wallet was used for online merchants it could be optimized for a mobile browser. This would be a great start! CaptChadd if you put together a detailed bounty for the type of merchant service you are describing, I will donate!

Cheers for putting it on here mate. I am going to add a goods selling section to the bbqcoin.org section I feel, so people can sell stuff for BQC and after all it is free advertising space for you products, my website get so many hits a day. I will get the the drawing board and sort something out on there, then I can start adding people requests for what they want to sell and I will add them. I might even add an goods buying and selling section to the forum aswell.

Its a great coin to ride for the pump n dumps honestly And I think just because of its resiliency, it'll eventually rise a bit. It'll stick around at least.

With the rebound in Bqc, I'll take 95000 per 7970 listed above. Free USPS Priority within the Us. CaptChadd offered to escrow as well.
If you take all four cards I'll take 15k bqc off.
