Anyone Made 100X Profit from Altcoin Investment

Think I made around 30x on DGB in the space of a month or so.

But that was a total fluke. And I didn't have a huge amount of money in it in the first place.

Still make a couple of thousand $ profit though.  

(A friend of mine made 100x on ETH and XRP I think. But he is/was a looooooooooong time holder on both)

like they're saying above the best way to increase your odds is to wait for a long time and get in when coins are dead or unknown.

most people here don't have the right mindset to make the real gains. they're either too stupid, sceptical, scared or greedy.

well till now all people eho replied here are just 2X or 3X , then who the hell are people who say that you can get 100X from altcoin investment...
Lots of fake people around YouTube saying 500X...

You must always take such statements with a  grain of salt, most likely they are not true, the only way to have such gains is to invest in an ICO and that coins then needs to go to the moon, and that during all of that you hold your coins and don't sell them at the smallest gain.

I have never seen %100 gains that didn't involve long term holding, at least 1+ year of holding... that or you get lucky and buy a coin that gets a massive pump randomly because some pump group decides to pump it and it gets %100+, but it's always too lucky involved.

Long term gainers like ETH, XMR, STRATIS... it would have taken a lot of holding to get the big gains.

A 100x profit is a long term hold buy and forget about it investment.  A successor to ethereum may bring that.  Problem is many are copies and there is not much innovation.

This. Because if you stay close to the cryptoworld, you will sell much before you get a 100x. A x20 or x30 is enough

With new ICOs so overpriced you will be waiting 5 years for a decent return.

Many of them don't even have products yet so it's 2 years development time minimum.

I agree with your observation because it now takes 2 years to get 100x profit.
Because of the very tight competition and the number of spam coins that are getting more and more day.
Maybe some kind of luck.

What the fuck?  You see that as some kind of moderate return?  What stock or asset have you ever bought which got even two times profit in that time?  Have you even heard of a bear market?

I've made 700-800% Waves and Lisk and counting (downwards at this moment).
Some of my early ETH buys were also good and the same with Monero. (Good means tenfold rise.)
Of course Rome wasn't built in a day, so it took more than a year to make these percents.

Still BTC was my best investment from zero to $2400-2500 in five-six years .

Most of the time i used to sell off when the price of the coin rises by over 10% on having plans to buy back at a later time when the market corrects and i never got that many opportunity to buy back,people who are able to save the coins for a longer time had a really good profit.

If you have not made more than 10% then its either you are selling at the wrong time or you buying without the right information. When it comes to alt trading if anyone is really serious about making money, you either join them because you cannot beat the shakers and movers of the market as they are the one that direct the movement of the market which is not something that is basically on the forces of demand and supply.

Try to check the price of Ether, Ripple, NEM, Monero when they joined the markets long time ago. It is long time, but holding them was lucrative.

I have never made 100X profit from altcoin investment. It will probably take a long time to be able to make 100X profit from altcoin. In altcoin investment I have not been in a long time, no more than 6 months and it is also rarely done. I just get the greatest gains in altcoin 2X, and maybe it's my biggest achievement in altcoin investment.

Hmmm according to me it is hard to make 100X profit from Altcoin investment.But i am much pretty sure you can make 100X Profit from bitcoin very easily. Altcoin is not that much increase like bitcoin.You can make only 10X or 5X with altcoins while I am in favor of bitcoin for that much profit because if you look at the initial price of bitcoin you will find that yes all of the initial investors have already earned that much.

Well, we can get a big advantage, we have to keep the coins for a long time. Almost everyone knows about it and they have many advantages, some proven examples of ethereume and doge coin, of course most of them are rich thanks to long-term storage.

A very close friend of me bought ripple and each was about $0.005. He sold all of his assets about $0.45 per each unit of ripple. It's not x100 but likely x80 or very close.
