I estimate that some of the btc owners will use their balance to buy altcoins after August 1st. Then around  next schedule they will buy back BTC again. So during Augusts I will wait for sudden price increase and drop just like we have been seeing at this month.

Its better to buy bitcoin now dont wait august 1 because we dont know the effects of fork but I hope so theres no effect with the price of bitcoin. I agree that you need to always grab the opportunity given by time for you in short do not waste time and opportunity. Hence for you to earn and to have a successful trading you must have a monitoring capability for you to manage and to know when is the best time to hold or buy bitcoin. Well you have a genuine point but what if the price shoots immediately after August one and you couldn't buy as many as you'd wish? Or perhaps your saved bitcoins in your wallet becomes an Altcoin after August 1? Well let's think on these lines I think we'd be able to come to terms with these facts.

I think before this August 1st the price will not cross $3000. Suppose if it passed means confirm again the price will drop to below $2500. But if it is stable at $2600 or $2700 then after this August 1st the price will take a sudden increase. I will not buy any coins now because the price is too high. I just wait for August 1st.

No waiting is not a good way this time because I think price will never drop to again, its price show it will cross 3000$ before the end of this month and its price will increase to continuing. If you want to profit from btc to buy it now because to me I think its price will cross 3000$ very soon.

Price will go up and not go down. If you will see we are still in the midst of a possible split which can result to a creation of Bitcoin Cash (new name). But people adopting to bitcoin is incredibly larger and its speeding up. From India which is booming now in bitcoin adoption, UK with large companies now adopting to bitcoin, Japan made it as legal tender, and many more. TenX company now offering credit card usage with bitcoin as its funding source.

So even though there are some uncertainty in the air, still price is going up because it is being overwhelmed by demand for lots and lots of people are moving to bitcoin for this is the future.

So buy now before you see the price bull again in a couple of days.

You are right sir. I am not sure the August 1st date will effect the price too much. The $1800 low last week and the ensuing buy-up right after sort of co-ordinated with the BIP91 signal acceptance that's been talked about. There may be no controversy August 1st.

That is definitely true. I am buying bitcoin again tomorrow. I just need to make a transfer from my bank account. I will add bitcoin as much as it permits me. I normally buy on deep but I think deep in no longer coming for its going up now and will continue to go up. So its a big buy signal now.

Be careful buying before august first i already converted BTC to some really promising and very low value alt coins some are waves , LBTC and NEM/Xem . If august first hard fork happens there is a possibility of  split of chain Like ETC and ETH.

So my initial plan was to invest more into bitcoin on a weekly basis but with the possibility of a split on August 1st I figured I'd wait a little. If there would be a split, there would certainly be a drop in price so maybe a good opportunity to pick some more up rather than doing it now. Normally I tend to make these kind of decisions for myself but since I don't fully understand what will happen August 1st I figured this would be the best place to ask.
