I think 1000$ dollar is a bit drastic, this few days the bitcoin price is falling quite big, but now it is still hanging above 2000$ I do believe that bitcoin won't fall below 2000$, I just a bit worried about how people will react when the august is coming, most of them already panic and this is not too good for bitcoin since the price already dropping

That is why only few big companies are willing to accept bitcoin as a valid currency, given the great risk that these constant fluctuations in price can mean. I personally do not think that bitcoin can go back to $1000 again, but given the great uncertainty that is prevailing in the market I think you should get used to these big fluctuations in the bitcoin price, and you should avoid making big money transactions  through bitcoin these days.

This is the first time I have read that people are speculating that the price of bitcoin will be back at $1,000. With the current stability of bitcoin's price I don't think that we are going to see it again at that stage. Because each day many people are becoming interested to bitcoin as it is now being televised and talked with some news channels.

That is Bitcoin's volatility for you. The ups and downs on Bitcoin's price is very normal in this type of environment. Considering the bear market we are in, it is not so surprising that we will see some drops from time to time, increase will be there as well. Reaching $1000 per Bitcoin, however, is difficult since Bitcoin has already established a good foundation and with its current demand, going underneath $2000 has a little probability.

Definitely, that is a reason why stores or peoples who accept it as a means of payment they have to be careful not to suffer great losses for selling  goods, They must first know this type of market behavior to avoid surprises like this.

but I do not think that bitcoin price is decreasing from 2000$ any more. it will be trading round about 2000$ and after some time it gong to shoot up again. and this time will cross 4000$ may be in next few months its price will be trading above 4000$ level.

yes i am agree with you that the price of bitcoin is not to decreasing to below 2000$ it will increasing more  because its popularity are very increasing and to me i think its price will goes to increase 4000$ at the end of the year .

the dips that has happened in the $2000-$3000 range so far have been many and all of them have proven that there is a very large buy support existing in the market. and last time that price went down from $2900 to $2100 it was clearly proven that it will jump back up again and it surely did.

this time i don't see any difference. price will go back up again after some consolidation.

although there are always going to be unpredictable events such as chain split that can change everything. but apart from that you should expect $2700 in about 2 weeks.

It's on the range $2500-$2700 since some time ago already. It's not reason for panic and even it continues decreasing a bit more it's normal. The news bring uncertain to Bitcoin world, I ask myself if even the whales know what can happen soon.

Anyway, I don't exclude the possibility of Bitcoin hit $1000 at some point, the chances of this happen are very low, but it's always good to consider all the possibilities.

I do not understand where people have so much pessimism and why many are so much determined to lose their funds in bitcoin. Although this may be a special action to provoke a panic in the currency market.

Bitcoin dropping as low as $1000? Well, that can be possible if all of us at least a big part of all Bitcoin holders would panic and unload their holdings immediately. But given the global scale of Bitcoin, it might not be coming soon. Only a major global catastrophe can blow Bitcoin in that way.

However, I can feel that while many are apprehensive with the bloodbath happening right now, there are also many who are dreaming that Bitcoin can go that low so they can take advantage of the price and buy a truckload of Bitcoin. Why? Because we all know that Bitcoin is called a comeback kid for many times in the past and this situation right now is no different.

The best thing to do is "HODL" and maybe even buy more Bitcoin so that by the time it would rise again then we could all be smiling and feel vindicated. Fear is always a part of us humans...that fear of losing but nothing to worry about as Bitcoin will regain back what it lost.

It just can't be explained, it seems those people just want to be heard in the media talking. How can you speak ill every time Bitcoin takes a tumble knowing specifically that it's just the recent trend and sometimes corrections on the market causes that. i see the price drop is because many people is selling their bitcoin and they don't want something bad will be happen while they still keep bitcoin in their hand. but i think, the choice is up to us and if we have patience to wait then hold its the best option and after this bad situations, we can see the price will be reach high price. i think its only temporary situations that bitcoin price is drop and its only correction from the news of segwit in august and the people is panic when they see that many rumor is happen in out there so i think we should be calm for a while.

Thats a little bit sad to hear.But don't worry.Bitcoin price would soon recover and you could make more profits than what you have lost now.But since bitcoin has now a big community support and bitcoin is to be legalized in some more countries,it seems highly impossible for bitcoin price to fall down to $1000.

If there will be a split, that could lead to bitcoin's price being split as well. I know this is not a good scenario, but we shouldn't discount the possibility of such a thing happening, and given the disunity we see from the developers, miners and users. But I hope something can be done to prevent such a thing from happening and if all goes well within the next few months, we could see $3,500 in the near future.
