Dimcoin is one of the mosaics of Nem. The commission in XEM is the fundamental one in the blockchain NEM. XEM is a fuel of this blockchain and I think it will not change.

I see that majority of people posting here are whiners.
To those: please stop whining and shut up, as it undermines confidence which is key to have a good launch. Get it? If you have to whine, just shut up.

I foresee a huge gain in the midterm (at least 6 months), so I will be holding DIMs for long time before even thinking to sell them. In fact I think I will buy some on the first exchange just after launch.
Of all the altcoins I own, this one is IMHO the most promising one.

you can sell the coins.  its the tokens you want to hold onto.  tokens are 100x value of 1 coin

100% correct.  regardless if DIMCOIN wants to use their own currency as native.  the fact that those transactions are already occurring on NEM's backbone, all those extra transactions, figure into the total number of all transactions occurring on NEM which= even more chances for harvesting blocks.

It is unlikely that DIMCOIN will ever switch from using NEM. NEM is in my opinion to most superior transaction processing coin, which is exactly what DIM needs.

I don't remember the exact numbers, but the maximum transactions per second that NEM can achieve, leave BTC, ETH, LTC and all other such coins in the dust... Not to mention the cheap fees
