Nova isn't nefarious, they are just stretched really thin.
The "manual" withdrawals happen because they keep most of the tokens in cold storage to prevent theft, not because they are running nodes or staking.

Everything is quite good. Wallet 0.12.1.5 is working, masternodes on this wallet is working, exchange working, pool working. We must ban in wallet any peers who have versions 0.12.2, and be OK.
"exchange working" hmm are you sure you have the right coin? couple of coins out there with similar symbol have folks confused! Potential buyers who want to setup masternodes, goes to the exchange buys das then tries to withdraw and gets the maintenance message. which as been happening for 3 weeks. then they turn around and dump it to cut their losses and get back their bitcoin. one of the reasons the price is down so much. again are you sure u have the right coin and exchange? o btw I dont think this is an exchange issue, all the problems the community is having with the dev and this coin I could picture him telling the exchange to take the wallet offline till further notice. to prevent folks from depositing and selling. good for you that your mn's for this coin are working!   Do you know that novaexchange don't store masternode coins on the exchange? I saw few time when I'd like to withdraw coins like DAS or VIVO, it took a lot of time. I asked support why is that and why it always in manual status before coins come to my wallet and I got answer, that this coins are in cold storage. I think they use coins for masternodes or stacking (those that have this feature)! It's a crap exchange! lol buddy the exchanges does not treat mn coins any special way! lol especially slow down the process of getting the coins "because they are in cold storage" lol buddy that one was something else. I've dealt with 3 or 4 masternode coins and downloaded them from various exchanges so this thing u are talking about sorry its a feeling not a fact! you dont pay more for a mn coin on an exchange! lol once you are dealing with so so coins and so so exchanges and so so devs some times you will experience a lot of issues. the facts remain, the dev goes missing for long periods of time, with no communication, also the exchange wallet mind u the only exchange u can buy and sell and withdraw the coin is in maintenance for over 3 weeks! and the coin price is going down. |

But the deposit is suspended as well, nobody can deposit Das to Novaexchange, the wallet is in maintenance mode. |

I made 3x gains on ETHD.
Doubled that further on LTCU pump.
Then... DAS... a coin I had liked months ago at the value, and failed to do research properly before reinvesting.
Learning experience.
You only lose money if you choose to sell at a loss, but I can't really say I see much potential for recovery from this community.

There are certain things that are out of a persons control, it really is that simple, even if u research it and research it, its not like you popped into the chat room and folks were saying hey major issues with the dev u may not want to buy! if you bought dump it! lol plus the wallet started having issues 3 weeks ago! then there are the canned responses "You only lose money if you choose to sell at a loss" reality the chances of some of these coins coming back up are slim and to not happening lol your best bet is to cut your losses early! dont hold on to it till its 2 satoshi! dev issues, wallet issues, exchange issues thats what u call the perfect crypto storm! just like the movie |

Can everyone post what version wallets they are using (both Windows and VPS) here as I think there is a lot of confusion going on. Also state if your MNs are working or not!
I first started my DAS MNs on the 22/08/2017 using version 0.12.2.0 and they worked great until I updated to the newer version 0.12.2.1.5 the other week. That's when it all went tits up and I downgraded back to the version I was using before (0.12.2.0) and they have been working fine since.
Why do people keep saying the 12.2 version is rubbish and ban the 12.2 IPs etc? It works absolutely fine for me.

this time i think it is dead. novaexchange have had there wallet for maintenance for so long now that i dont think it will get out of it. there has almost been problems since day 1 with this coin.
