Can someone please tell me if this is the same DAS https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=DAS_BTC

I'm trying to buy some more on Nova but can't for the life of me figure out where to deposit my BTC!!!

Thanks

No, that isn't the same DAS. That is DA$ and it is causing confusion ever since it appeared.

On Nova, if you click on the Wallet -> Balances and untick the 'hide zero balances' if it is selected you will see all the coins.
Find the BTC and click the blue + button next to it.
On the new pop up window, click on 'generate new address' and deposit the BTC to that address

Thanks for that szfinx, you're a lifesaver.

It was indeed the 'hide zero balances' checkbox lol.

I'm not sure how DA$ can get away with it, they should be made to change their ticker!

If i am not mistaken, Da$ was there first  Cheesy

This at least came up multiple times in the past when everyone was pointing out the incompetence of the dev. Especially when everyone was whining that he does not reply

That's true. That DA$ cannot be listed with a non-letter character on cryptopia, so it "took" the DAS symbol there with very interesting timing (just as discussion was going on for listing our DAS on cryptopia). Coincidentally, JUST as our DAS was getting hot on Nova with word getting out (pumping). DAS was listed on Nova before DA$ was listed on cryptopia and there is basically NO INFO on this DA$, but it looks like they profited from the confusion with our DAS during that pump. Sad

It's crypto people. The "wild, wild west". Who are you going to complain to? It's not money (fiat), it's a commodity with no inherent value except what people are willing to pay. And confusing and duplicate names are abound (ie, Dash vs Dashcoin, etc.) on many exchanges and info sites. Please do your research and due diligence before spending your valuable BTC (or other major crypto). Wink

My debug.log size is more than 2GB!

My debug file was 7 GB, but MN works fine. Previous wallet hadn't such issue.

You have the same problem? How did you fix it? And what you mean "Previous wallet hadn't such issue"? I got DAS source from git clone https://github.com/Truckman83/DAS-source

I didn't fix it, just delete debug file manually.
Regarding previous wallet: I mean previous version 0.12.1

my file took up all the free space and stopped MN
30GB
Manually deleted
Really nobody knows how to disable logging?

Unfortunately exist. I am deleting one a week at least on my nodes otherwise I would run out of space. You can find the debug file on the .das/ folder (Linux MN) Just looks for a file which is much bigger than anything else.

I believe this was addressed on the DAS Slack for linux. I will look for and repost here. (or you can review the slack yourself)

i see the same and also see a lot of nodes switching to expired or to be removed. someone just passed a sys to debug, i think i know how to solve it but not really what the cause is, however you can truncate logs via cron, ill put up how to do that when i am done.

Masternode.pro statistics are erroneous about DAS. My masternode gives me more rewards than advertised on Masternode.pro

I hope you are right, just bought a masternode  Cool

Set it up, add the cron job to handle the log issue (when it gets posted, you'll need this... I'm waiting for it too). Then just forget about it for 6 months. You'll be quite happy in my opinion!

Dev, i need help!
Have you tried getting help on your (unknown) issue via the DAS Telegram channel, DAS Slack or putting up the specifics to your issue for help from the peer DAS community here?

CryptoPatriot's personal problem resolution escalation:
Tier 1: Troubleshoot and fix yourself (research problem, educate self and resolve)
Tier 2: Find the solution in the variety of documentation available (DAS, linux, Win, google, similar coins/masternodes, etc.)
Tier 3: Ask the community via one of the mediums of communication (above)
Tier 4: Get help from a specific "specialist" in the community or elsewhere (usually via PM/private chat on Slack or Telegram)
Tier 5: Specific inquiry to dev (via PM on bitcointalk) that could not be resolved any other way after trying all other resources

This is how I've done it for the very few issues I've had with DAS (and other matters) and it usually gets worked out by tier 3. That's what the community is for. To help each other out. Smiley

Hope it gets resolved sooner rather than later with my advice.

Regards,

c_p

Dumped? BTC up to record high yesterday then down 10% today? Based on volume and timing, I'd say a quick sell of DAS to BTC so BTC to fiat while BTC at record highs. Always have to take that into consideration. DAS Masternode # still at the high end of 340 give or take. All is well, just no reason to pump DAS while shorts manipulate the market and people willing to take a lower gain than if they were patient. To each his/her own. Not a dump for sure given the full history of the Nova market for DAS. .0004 +/- looks like it's stable range right now. Up, down, balance, up, down, balance. Almost a buy signal for me. Always looking for a long profit on any coin.  Wink

If you read my previous post, DAS will dump to 6-8 cents. . . then I will go in again. It's a pump and dump coin (look at the charts, easy profit).

In the slack you can see the solution for problem logs only for Linux
I have Windows MN
If you try to delete a file while running MN, it shows that the file is not allowed
