It may be possible if bitcoin becomes legalized in that country who has a lot of poor people and the transaction fees may be an hindrance for them because if they want to buy coffee for only $2-5 they would have to $0.15 or 0.85 just to make the transaction faster and to buy coffee. They would have to convert their bitcoins first into their fiat currency to be able to buy goods and neccessities and would decrease of price in bitcoin depending on the volume of people converting it.  The only work around this problem is first thst coutry needs to legalize bitcoin and second resolved the bitcoin scaling issue.

It will never be possible.
Bitcoin is money.
You have money you're not poor. You can get bitcoin either with money or by working for it so it won't change a thing.

So the government legalize bitcoin. And?
Will you suddenly pen your fridge and is full of food?
Will you get a free car and a 10BTC deposit?
No.

All thinking bitcoin will eradicate poverty should drop their socialism propaganda and find a better forum for it.
Bitcoin won't change a thing. Some people will get rich some will get bankrupt and that's all.

Well that is just the issue here, how can they even earn Bitcoin in the first place if that country is really that poor? Based on what you've mentioned, these poor people don't even have enough money to buy gadgets, or even worse don't have the knowledge to use one ('cause they're poor).
Quote
because if they want to buy coffee for only $2-5 they would have to $0.15 or 0.85 just to make the transaction faster and to buy coffee. They would have to convert their bitcoins first into their fiat currency to be able to buy goods and neccessities and would decrease of price in bitcoin depending on the volume of people converting it.
That is exactly we wanted to resolve here, what if instead of converting Bitcoin to any specific fiats depending on the country is to just accept Bitcoin as payment directly, thus no converting needed.

And also, the price of Bitcoin will not decrease due to converting it to fiat.
Quote
The only work around this problem is first thst coutry needs to legalize bitcoin and second resolved the bitcoin scaling issue.
Well, some of them have already legalized it. But how can we resolve the 'scaling issue' if we don't have the full control of Bitcoin (not that we can do such a thing, talk about decentralized cryptocurrencies).

I don't think that...
Bitcoin can never eradicate the poverty from the world, it is prerequisite that internet and a computer is necessary on order to be connected with Bitcoin so that a poor person can't afford to log in this platform, if a poor doesn't able to use it then how Bitcoin is helpful for eradicating poverty in the world...
You have picked such a valid point this really is a great issue referred. To use bitcoin forum one will need all these what you have directed and if someone don’t have the money to eat the food how could he/she afford a computer, also majority of the poor people are uneducated and they if provided a computer system will not be able to use it.

These are some issues that were behind wall of my mind. To use bitcoin first you need to educate the people and provide them with the facilities to enable them use it.

So far there are still many people who do not know the existence of bitcoin so from that I can say bitcoin is not completely able to end poverty because bitcoin until now can not be inaugurated by the government so that poor people who do not understand with bitcoin they can not feel the result of bitcoin income even way Using it and looking for it they do not know anything.
If people do not know about bitcoin then we cannot blame bitcoin for that as it is the responsibility of us that we promote the word bitcoin to all over the world and it is sure that if bitcoin will reach to everyone then it will remove the poverty from the world and people will live happily.

I seriously doubt it will end poverty. Not all people are really into bitcoin right now and its still far from global mass adoption. And the poor country doesn't even have proper infrastructure to begin with. I  think what bitcoin can do is somewhat alleviate their mode of living. Specially I'm seeing a lot of members now are now using bitcoin as job, to earn money. But to end poverty it will not happen.

Maybe you are right mate but there’s one thing that bitcoin can end! UNEMPLOYMENT many families depend on one person in third world countries. If you employ one person, he/she will feed the whole family. It’s an alternative for poverty. A bright future awaits.

yes you are right that is the big problem in many countries or areas that many families depend on one person's earning due to which the family become very affected because that one person cannot manage all the things which cause poverty, so i think if the other members of the families start earning from bitcoin ( because everyone can do it easily) then upto certain extend Yes bitcoin can end poverty.

I don't see how bitcoin is helping people in Africa getting food or avoiding wars.

You have a point, I think bitcoin can help other people in poverty but not all. Like what you said, war, crisis in europe and other disaster can't help to solve this problem.

We are know (bitcoin user) that bitcoin is one key to solve our needs by giving a time and studying more information but not all people go for this opportunity because more people in this world are poor and no kowledges to technologies only making a job for their foods.

I think so too, poverty will not end as there are a lot of factors that people do not have control of need to be sorted out before poverty is wiped out.
The are some uncontrollable factors such as poor rainfall or bad weather that puts people at a disadvantage.
Other people are affected by wars which never end and people do not have time to learn about bitcoin as their priorities are all about survival

i think bitcoin cannot reduce unemployment, although it can give some job to people or can help people to earn livelihood, buy  but cannot end their poverty as a permanent. i can see that most of the comments here are that bitcoin give the a good financial support and but me i think still they need to find a day job that that if they lose their job in bitcoin, they may have some day job to continue earn their livelihood.

Yesh you're correct. The bitcoin can't end the poverty. You are also correct because you say that there are many factors in poverty that is hard to end and that is true. The government is the key to end the poverty.

Since Bitcoin is able to create employment globally online for freelancers and is able to reduce unemployment globally and remotely I guess it can also reduce poverty but ending it completely is subjective.

Indeed bitcoin is already around the world, but people who do not understand the technology may be difficult to understand, because the poor are difficult to learn technology and poverty is difficult to remove

There have been crypto coins that gave away massive numbers of coins and some of those coins got to the exchanges.  The price may have been ok, but once those wallets holders with the huge give away balance started dumping, the price dropped and the coin was worthless.

Bitcoin, introduced in a standard manner, as it is now, is going to follow the 80/20 rule, 80% of the money will be held by 20% of the people.  Currency is not the poverty issue, it is a deeper societal issue that cannot be solved with FIAT, or Bitcoin or any currency.

Bitcoin is a way to get out of poverty for some but I agree with the inclination of some that it is not a magical potion that can make poverty in the world disappear. Bitcoin is a fickle thing it is a gamble, it is learning to see what trend and when it would be best to go all in or to hold back. Bitcoin is not a surefire way, some lose most of their investments while some can be adaptable enough to know that it is best to sell now. Some might see it as a perfect way to earn money continually but I think it is practical that we also learn to earn in a more stable manner.

No, bitcoin is just a decentralized peer to peer payment system in shortly. It is not for to solve poverty
I will disagree, it is not just a payment system but it is now a popular investment which everyone is trying to invest. And if you invested to bitcoin earlier when the price is still not that high then now you had almost 1000% percentage profit. So I believe it can end a family's poverty but the world is big and its hard to believe.
Bitcoin has got multiple usability rather than getting used as a payment gateway. Recent days it's more popular as an investment. I need to ask what's meant by poverty. One who doesn't have the food and basic needs is the poverty. In this situation where he'll go for making an investment. So it can be eradicated if people were educated. So education can be provided by government. In this way a chained process might help, but when it comes to real time implementation it will be hard to get success.

Yes just like what I said. It will only hard to get success if most of the people will doesn't have something to earn or doesn't have a living. That is making poverty. But because bitcoin creates, investments and it also creates employment it's helping to reduce the poverty in so many ways.
Yes bitcoin essentially is very important for investments and because it makes huge profit margins, it can also be used to end poverty. Another point is that it can reduce unemployment. People with no jobs can always get jobs online depending on the skill they have and earn money in bitcoin.

Yes it is very important to many investors because it is a volatile asset and increase it price through time. But saying that it will end poverty? I don't think so, bitcoin is just a digital currency, yes, there will be a small amount of people who will be getting their jobs online,  but it doesn't mean that they earn bitcoin from it they will be rich as you've said, it will all depend on their skill not on earning bitcoin.
