I don't think so that bitcoin can end poverty because not all people all over the country has an idea and well educated about bitcoin, there are still remote areas which still don't have any electricity supply.. Bitcoin might help some people but cannot end poverty.
I agree also bitcoin was just a money over internet ,I agree it provided many opportunities to individuals but it doesn't mean that it could extinct poverty over the world , you still need to work to gain money/bitcoins so you could get out yourself out from being poor . It cannot end poverty but it can help lessen it since bitcoin requires electricity and internet for us to access it and not everyone im the world has it. Not only those are needed since some poor people hasn't even had the chance to study at all so it would be hard for them to understand anything about bitcoin. Anyway, poverty cannot be ended as long as equality hasn't been made.

I think it is impossible for bitcoin to end world poverty, but if just to reduce,I think bitcoin is capable. Poverty of the world is a big thing until now very difficult to overcome. The point is bitcoin is difficult to end world poverty.

There is a probability for this to be true. I mean in my country, bitcoin somehow resolved the unemployment problem. Due to this a lot of people has been earning money. I think it may help poverty as well.

I suspect Bitcoin can't and won't end world poverty. I mean if we're gonna tackle the global poverty situation and crisis, it is just too massive to consider that it would be it's long awaited answer and solution. Even if bitcoin were to be taught in classrooms and in the community, there will always be factions and groups of individuals who won't pick it up or just wont apply it.
It can however offer relief and a opportunity for people who are struggling worldwide. It's a new and alternative method to earn and possibly improve the way of living. It's one good option. But you have to work hard for it.

Crypto currency offers lots of job opportunities around the world. I don't have the exact number, but i read it once and it was a pretty respectable number. Bitcoin is another crypto currency that provided jobs for lots of bitcoin community members and it is a good source of income. But, i don't see how it can ends world's poverty. The income is kind of low and barely enough for a signle person. I hope bitcoin become a part of the world economy in the future so it can help change the situation of certain povert countries.

I think bitcoin is very potential subject, and who knows may be it reduces poverty and end it up. But according to me I still feel that not even bitcoin anything can not end world poverty, as still many companies and authority did not accept bitcoin, even after the acceptance, bitcoin will not be easily accessed or in reach to poors. As for its generation proper computer and investment are required which can not be done by the poor or below poverty line people, bitcoin will only make rich more richer and poor more poor. Bitcoin is a very powerful generation changing concept. Bitcoin is continously growing and people are attracte towards it bit still there are so many countries and populations which do not believe in bitcoin or still don't have Internet and so reduction of poverty is not possible as it seems to be.

Difinitely Its not easy to end poverty using bitcoin but it will be minimize. The main problem regarding of the poverty is by having many children in each family and the parents have not enough income to support there children. Family planning should apply to minimize it and also by using a bitcoin they can earn to those parents have lacks of income. Also, the government of some country didn't yet support bitcoin that makes each people or jobless people to earn, i believed in the future, someday bitcoin will implemented throughout the country and to minimize the poverty.

No sir it will not. It was thought that the current system of capitalism is really good since there would be an exchange of resources. However people started to horde. And while there is supply, and the fact that it is not infinite and easy to collect means that it is open for business and businesses always grow big to exploit people.

It could be of help to end world poverty but Bitcoin alone will never ever be able to solve world poverty. For all we know, Bitcoin is not some kind of a non-government organization whose advocacy is to put a stop to world poverty. Nor is it a UN-like body that will promote the welfare of the people. And then, there has been poverty ever since the world began. So I doubt if it will be totally wiped out by any measure.

I dont think Bitcoin can end world poverty. Although, I think it can help reduce world poverty. The reason why I say this is that Bitcoin is earned or bought. You wont get it by not doing anything. Even getting it from free faucet, you have to do something. You have educate yourself, so you would be able to know what to do when you get them from free faucets. I guess the point I'm trying to drive at is it still needs work and you need to earn it. It depends on an individual if the are going to do something about it. Second, there are a lot of factors contributing to poverty that Bitcoin cannot address.

YES! because more people have access to "bank" system with bitcoin. more people could pay less fee for their payment, easy way to transfer money, use a "good" currencies (and not just a sort of piece of paper). definitely bitcoin could end word poverty or at least give a new wind for these poor people ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

I don't believe that bitcoin can end world poverty in any way but can reduce it to some extent and not to end it completely. Some of the poor people who have the money and awareness to invest in bitcoin will be safe from poverty because of the profit they are going to make from their investment. And if the poor have the skill to render services related to blockchain technology or crypto currency, that will go a long way to increase their earning and reduce their poverty level.

No! it absolutely cannot end world poverty mate. Practically, people who are less fortunate or those who barely eat three times a day will prioritize on how they can survive every day by doing all they can to have enough money for their special needs, like food, water, clothes and etc. Another is the fact that they don't have an internet access and gadgets, to begin with. We can't also just rely on bitcoin to be a source of income.

What do you mean by selfish and lazy people? There is no selfishness involve in the bitcoin because it is all the matter of self interest, If one can have interest in earning money online they he/she can easily come to know about very mean of earning and bitcoin is one of them, If he/she satisfy with the earning through bitcoin then its their choices, And he/she don't bounded to tell everyone about their source of income, So it is not selfishness.
