I wonder if someone will post a coin of total quantity - 1

Oh boy market volatility would go off the charts every single second.

No it wouldn't.  People would just trade it by the thousandth or the millionth.  It would have the same volatility as anything else.

I really think there are some good altcoins out there, but the majority is a quick pump and dump profit scheme, unfortunately.
I also hope that this trend that 2 new altcoins spawn every week, stops at some point, as people realize that these coins don't survive
very long. People will realize that some day, and there will remain like 10-20 good altcoins, the rest will slowly die. At least that's what I
think from my observations until now.

It's true that there's a huge saturation of alt coins in the market now, which is devaluting a lot of them.  It's hard to say which coins will gain in value in the future; sometimes you never know.

everyone should check out KDC this coin actually looks pretty good

Not all altcoins are premined to buggery. Some premining is fair play, but some of the crapcoins coming out are are mockery to cryptocurrency.

Premine can be good, till a certain number. If the dev makes clear where the premine is used for and if it isn't a ridiculous amount you can safely say that it isn't a scam.

Then they should mine them themselves like everybody else, then they can choose to give them away or not. Pre-mining is unfair to the community and users regardless of what it's used for.

Honestly I still think premine is the nature of the beast today. This isn't 2009 where you can create something unique and have a chance to mine it before MultPools jump on you and cram you difficulty up to 200. As a dev there would be 0 return on your investment and there would be no real reward for people to make a difference, unless they are offering an IPO or something before hand.

That being said, I still think NobleCoin is the best out there. With premine it is nice knowing what money is where and having the satisfaction of knowing there isn't going to be a dump on the market. Noble has a public ledger that shows where every bit of premine is and what its is being spent on. In addition to that, the Dev is constantly involved, online, and providing updates/feedback and keeping the coin moving.

If you haven't, you need to just check them out. Never want to miss out on the next big thing.

Why should coins be made for the devs to make money? That's not the spirit of cryptos, but it is when greedy capitalists want their slice of the pie.

What's so noble about Noblecoin and what does it offer that most other currencies don't?

First off, Im not saying for devs to really make money, just even cover costs. It's not cheap to make a coin, do marketing, host a site, etc.
In regards to Noble, without going into tons of detail, their plans for charity donations and contributing to the community. They have it outlined on http://www.noblemovement.com/movement/  . Outside of that altcoins to me are more about the future and not always about the now. Noble has an outlined plan for the future including a marketplace, etc. It's just my opinion but I just wanted to get some info out incase others wanted to get involved.

That statement is absolutely true.
I've been around for a little while now and Noble has been the first one to offer public ledger and a real focus on various outputs: charities, merchants and investors.
It's not something that will be over in a week or so, it's for the long haul.
And the-premine is the key to the whole plan http://www.noblemovement.com/movement/.
It is a win, win, win, win combination (miners, investors, charities, merchants).

So yes, in most cases, pre-mine = pum and dump.
With Noble, it's the absolute opposite.

no premine = no fun/ growth.  Upto 2% pre-mine is okay.
why should premining be okay? imho the dev then are just scamming the users. no future to the coin then...
