Be Careful With Pumping Groups

I too am not really into pumping groups, I experienced the same thing as the OP did when one of the group creator said a certain coin will pump within the week so I believed him and placed some of my savings on that coin only to realize a week after it never pumped and in fact dump. That was a lesson I've learned though.

They have tricked you, some people will be very interested in the pump group, they imagine will benefit greatly. Trade is not luck or always instant. Trade is our analysis of experience.

Sorry i'm newbie in trading, are all the pumping groups frauds? Whether trading with experience and anlisis can suffer big losses? If so what will you do? thanks Irwanjabryg

In trading all newbie, including me.
Because the trade is learning. All can happen we can not guess it.
I find it difficult to distinguish a good pumper group. Better not and do it in your own opinion. It's safer.

You just can learning after loss, not have trader on the world's can sure they have 100% ratio winning when trading, but different between newbie in trading and people have more years experience trading is stop-loss. Good trader can set minimium loss maybe 1% / order, and they can take profit with 5-10% or 20%/order. With newbie, when loss will all or more than 50% because they not know stop-loss when wrong

Stop loss would really be hard on most newbies even they didnt even know what is that stop loss thing on doing trading. As a trader you would really set stop loss incase the price wont go as you planned but you do make this decision to earn something more percentage than on the set stop loss. About on OP pumping groups might be true or just a fake one you wont know if they just want for you to buy a certain coin so that they would able to sell and secure profits.

If the group is legit, then you would rather be on the inside of that curve than the outside, but that is something that can be controlled by a single membership.  We have controlled the groups using that method.  Our own trading groups have a single member inside the most powerful pumping groups to bring that information out into our group, so we know what they are doing.

Hmm, now that this has been no secret that there are a few companies or groups that seek a profit from trading. Where they have several groups with different tasks, in order to get the benefits they have many plans. well it's not a problem, because it has every trick alone. Just stay we only want to work with good or not, if you want to then it is certain that you get is a big advantage and also will certainly get a lot of strategy being used

Totally agreed with you I really think that pumping groups are bunch of scam.
They wouldn't really care if you are going to make some profit they will just mind their own,
They are just going to use you to pump the coin and if you are late to convert then its your lost .

The idea of a pumping group is flawed. It relies on everyone in the group buying when they are supposed to buy, and selling when they are supposed to sell. However, every person in the group stands to gain more by selling before everyone else after a pump. Basically the idea is flawed because game theory. On top of that, it's price manipulation which is stupid and immoral. If bitcoin exchanges every become regulated (which would be great for bitcoin) then these would almost certainly be illegal.

Yeah that's true about the pump group. The unity of the group is really important when it comes to pumping the coin. If few of them try to abandon us then it can lead to chaos. I was also very interested in such pump group first and I even tried one but I don't see a success in there. It's better to try out our own strategies and gain profits.

The first time i heard this pumping group concept i never had the slightest desire to join lol. i mean yes its free but you don't simply trust anyone offering you good stuffs over

the internet. it's better to let yourself handle the vital parts rather than having a bunch of  strangers handle it, Hey its money we're talking about!!!!!!

be careful also about the people teaching trading things on the internet. many of them is just another way of promoting their coins like they will list all of their top undervalued

Anyone who is even visiting joining any PUMP group should be even be more careful than the group manager itself and be timely more than anything because the entry is not an issue but the exit in which you just need to be ahead of your game and not be greedy that even if you entered late which is obviously OP's case, the moment you have gained a little just exit and not wait until you get 100x of what you put which might bite at the end of the day.

People have lost 0.5-1 BTC joining these scam groups. Only buy walls should be trusted as they are the genuine investors who pump the prices for the future of the coin.

I can understand your circumstances ,if you are risking your money with the coins we see in exchanges like yobit which is not traded anywhere else,then you could be in a trap because these groups will pump the coins and once you get involved it gets dumped badly,i am not sure how they are able to do that ,may be because the volume is really low.

I was scammed by such pumping group before, they didn't scammed me directly but when following their group/provably fair pumping I lost almost 1BTC because of bots ran by those group admins.

I also received a pm here from a brand new account last May offering to join them. He said the only thing I need to do is make a couple of forum post and I will get an advance notice on which altcoin is going to pumped.

When I ask him to use his/her real account instead of brand new account, he said he ain't monitor or use that account which is obviously just using for screwing others. After he seems i'm not interested in joining, he stated that there are enough people who joined. It's nice I didn't get easily fooled.

Pumping Groups are used by the big whales to be able to get people on with buying into something, it's used by them to be able to see an insane amount of pumping and then the big whales sell and everyone in the group gets fucked up with insane amounts of losses, don't get me wrong I'm not going to say this is the case with all of these groups because some of them are good at making a select group of people in the group and out of them a pretty penny, but the vast majority of the time it's going to lead to a loss of funds for some people.

So, yes do be insanely careful if you're getting into altcoin trading and trying to make some quick cash

How to determine the position for stop - loss?
I just heard this term, usually cut-loss, is this a difference ?.
Experience remains a major factor to avoid major losses. That's my opinion.

I agree that we don't know these people so we don't know if we can trust them. The concept could work if it is legitimate so I can see the benefit if it is legitimate. Another problem is that if the group is not very big, then it might not have a big impact on the market.

That is why I wasn't lured to those so called pump and dump groups. Because I would rather used my own judgement rather than follow people you didn't know and don't trust. Sometimes its very hard not to join a group because you want to know a head of  time which coins to pump so that you can profit, but in you look at end, those people behind the  group are already bag holders of the coin they are going to dump. They are just waiting for more investors like newbies to buy, but they didn't know that they are already trap once the dump happens.

Trading is all about risk management and your call to follow others or not. I know how dangerous pump group could lead to loss for their members but that's a common rule in trading : do your own research and learn before invest on a coin.
I just consider those groups as an addition for information and won't take seriously for random investment, simply put your money on trusted coins which always rise after decline such as bitcoin

Yes, when pumping group occurs highly possible when this group already get their goal, they will dump and make the trader lose. It always happen on Yobit while Pump bot is a main profit from traders on Yobit

Yes this is true, by the time you log in to buy some coins thinking that you'll get some profit you are too late as the dumping already started. You maybe lucky to get some left overs but not as promised. Its either you HODL on your coins or do your own research and observation on which one is moving or have a lot of activity.

You are absolutely right.Those big whales would have bought their coins at much cheaper price.Now they need their coins to be pumped some more and for that they need you and they make use of you.Since you don't know exactly when it would be dumped,better stay away from them to avoid total loss of your investment.
