Do Altcoins really have a future?

There are so many great use-cases and projects being developed still finding their legs. Plus there is a steady flow of talent coming into the Blockchain sphere – I'm very positive for the future of Altcoins and their various applications.

Most coins can be considered shitcoins but there are some with actual real world purposes such as Siacoin with it's cloud functionality.

I think yes, although now altcoin is decreasing and Altcoin has a very special future and I believe Ethereum because Ethereum can transact quickly and can invest in the long term and have a large market demand,

Altcoins can be said to have future than even bitcoins because , altcoins are mostly tokens and most are based on services and products which sought funding through ICO to implement the project. And is like a traditional stock, as long as the company is available , the stock is still valuable.

I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.

Altcoin is being a fugitive of many coin lovers. and it can be said Altcoin is on the rise, and this makes Altcoin holders happy. because of increasing Altcoin enthusiasts, the higher the price of coins. I prefer Ethereum is a good coin for the future.

Now the bitcoin is on the verge of its red, I do hope that ethereum has the best to replace it. Ethereum is now being widely-known alt coin. But if the bitcoin resolves its problem about its transaction fee. I don’t think that people will use ethereum or other alt coins.

Similar questions have already been raised, when bitcoin was just starting up,same question was raised for it. But look at where bitcoin is now?
Anyway, all altcoins do havea future, but the big question is, will it be similar with bitcoin?
One thing is clear, if an at doesn't have any real world application, then it's future can be dire.

Yes, they have a future, but not all. There is a future for crypto-currency with its own blockchain and original idea. The rest (according to forecasts, up to 90% of those that are at the moment) will disappear from the market.

In future after accepting bitcoins by entire world, Governments would like to have more control on the system. We should wait for their decision whether they want bitcoin to be that major cryptocurrency or not

I agree, but not all of them have a future, it will be depends on the team if they are going to continue to develop their coin, that way the progress of that certain coin would continue to go up and many investors would buy it if they knew that it have the capability to pump even more, we all love profits. The only reason why a certain coin didn't go anywhere is because the developer or the team decided to give up since no one is buying their coin.

Just like bitcoin altcoins will have future but not all of them so we have to chose the right coin to invest and make sure that its going to give us fortune in the future. In order to determine if a coin is good you have to see if the project is good and the team should be solid. If you can spot that the. For sure your invest is going to skyrocket.

there ara almost 2 thousand altcoin listed and more waiting to list. There is no doubt many of these coins don't have future more than 2 or 3 years but that doesn't mean every coin is sentenced to die. of course there are really good projects have future and we are looking for them to invest.
