Yes altcoins really have a greater future and there is not doubt about that fact. Just like as has made significant progress in the value growth over the past few years.
Altcoins will succeed if bitcoin will continue to be on top, people are investing with bitcoin and later they'll realize
that there are a lot of options where they can diversify their funds. If you are an investor, you have to believe the future of the entire cryptocurrency.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Altcoins will have a big future, when bitcoin is still on top and increasing it is a good sign that altcoins will also have a big future because when the price of bitcoin gets higher some of altcoins gets higher also. But some are not and unpredictable to its price, and also one reason if the project is so successful that altcoin will have a big future.

We have to believe on what we invested, maybe in the early stage bitcoin has no competition but now altcoins are also getting the attention
of the people especially those who are in the top 10, like Ripple and Ethereum, if we can invest in these altcoins, I think it would be a better idea to have
a chance to grow when they succeed.

I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.
Yes, some alternative coins have future because some of them are just proving their importance. I know that there are only few altcoins that has a potential to increase their value just like Ethereum, ripple and litecoin. Seriously, I don't know much about other altcoins. If you still believe that some of them have a future then you can invest in long term and be ready to face what might happen, whether it is a negative or positive result.

I believe that the Altocain has a good future for development and improvement. This bitcoin still has problems with its insufficient scalability and manifestation as a financial bubble and therefore it has already lost a lot in its popularity. Improvement of the crypto-currency is taking place along the line of improvement of the altcoyins. They have a good future.

There are some altcoins that I think have a future like Ethereum, Ripple, Dash. But I am not sure with any other altcoin that in the future people will wear it in real life. Too much altcoin is in circulation, even some who can not compete eventually have no value.

I think bitcoin is now more popular but for the future it may be defeated by altcoin like eth because now altcoin enthusiasts are many
and many people who already predict eth will replace bitcoin in the future

I think they have and  if we are patient enough we can make enough money with the coins and the new ones.

It would be safe to say that right now we are in Altcoin bubble!  Undecided
Hundreds of new coins have launched already and many many more coming up in near future. It is highly unlikely that all will be successful in future. It's not possible. Most of them will die eventually loosing lot of money of investors.

But there are few coins which have strong team with interesting concept. They will get success in future and stay for longer period.

Actually until now this is my question about the altcoin, if it is really have a future. Because as far as we see all altcoins was stable. They cannot rising up or even they rising up there's only a small gap in the original value compare to the bitcoin was rapidly rising up and falling down

I would like to say yes to your question for the very simple reason that any platform that goes under the Blockchain technology is a lot better than the current banking system that we have. However, due to legality issues around different countries who are currently involved with the crypto currencies, it would take a lot of processes before the government even accepts Bitcoin as a legal currency let alone the alternative coin. I still believe that Bitcoin will still be the King of cryptocurrencies in the long run especially if they will be able to provide a solid solution to high transaction fees and what not.

What you say is quite true for BTC, however we do see some altcoins ICO projects are very innovative in a way that contribute are help the current coin to be more efficient like scaling coins. Furthermore some projects is very beneficial to the public users, even in the long term wise i will see that altcoins will have a future, but no one can gurantee anything in the future as the market keep movings and if the goverments introducing new law that will curb the development of altcoins i guess it will diminish sooner or later.

The Altcoins are developing rapidly, undoubtedly they have a future, only a search for really worthy altcoins is needed, as a lot of shitcoins which if you buy once and then you can not sell..

Many altcoins are more promising than bitcoin. For example, Ethereum or Ripple. Bitcoin retains leadership due to the fact that it's the
first crypto currency and all the world's media talk only about it. But I think this year Ether and Ripple can overtake BTC by capitalization.
The advantage of Ether lies in its platform of smart contracts. The advantage of Ripple is that many banking institutions already conduct transaction tests in Ripple.

There's no reason to believe that there will only be one coin in the future. But coins have to show real usage and value to survive. Ethereum, Civic, Zcash and Monero have that. Probably also Iota.
... Yes, it's possible that altcoins really also have future because they are still working from their existence until now. Obviously altcoins  imitate the concept of bitcoin through the block chain technology. Altcoins adopting the advantage of bitcoin for the future. Altcoins are competiting to the bitcoin because they had seen the evulotion of technology and internet.

I'm almost sure that the Alcocums have a future. We are talking about an economy that costs billions. So many different altcoins will take a slice of this big pie.
