That chat, was at August 29th.

I've 4 addresses figured in the second list: "Unreclaimed during round 2"

The 4 address derivates from the same seed.

It's not your case then, you should wait for Iota Recovery Tool.

Ok. Thanks. I will remain attentive to news about that tool

First time I know about it. I've just only found this post on iota slack.

That will be a tool helping to recover iotas "lost" by those who didn't do all the transitions in time. It's not related to manual claims.

Alright guys, time to close the issue with the pending manual claims. To make sure everything is correct, let's do some extra checks during the preparation phase:

Send your NEW address generated with the NEWEST wallet software to come-from-beyond@mail.ru from THAT VERY EMAIL ADDRESS you used to claim the iotas. Only 90 chars of the address, nothing else, not even "Hi". Use the following subject for the letter:
Code:
MANUAL-CLAIM

PS: If someone doesn't do that because they haven't seen this post then nothing bad should happen but that may delay the completion of the claim process.

It is done. Message sent.

Yes.

So I understand Round 2 addresses will be recovered with the Iota Recovery Tool using the old seeds. That is worrying CfB, because we sent our seeds to David in unencrypted emails. Those seeds have to be considered compromised now. Should Round 2 addresses not be processed manually, too?

Who said to send Round 2 address seeds via email?

In my case, it was David on Slack, June 10th (I just PM'd you a screenshot here on bct).

That was a confusion, only the first list is the manual claims. I assume that some of the letters I received are not actually manual claims...

Anyone able to clarify all the various manual claims going on and what the autotool is intended to help with?

Let's give these claims some names

"Claims A" - Upto ~August 2016?
Presale (before a wallet existed).   I believe there were two rounds of presale ICOs but wasn't involved in this so not sure if this is indeed the case.

"Claims B" - July 2017
A wallet existed (V1+) , clients had funds in the wallet but balances vanished at some point due to technology being changed for some reason.   An auto reclaim process existed briefly but was removed in ~v2.2
Those who missed the autoreclaim tool had until July 2017 to email David to get their money back... most are still waiting but CfB is kindly offering to expedite this now since David has been too busy.

"Claims C" - ~September 2017
Latest wallet 2.5.4, some peoples funds apparently missing?

So to clarify, is the new 'soon to be released' autoclaiming tool only to help "Claims C" or will it help anyone in A or B as well?

There was a (Re-)Claim A_1
sometimes in 05-2017
(have seen in my wallet some IOTA ~01-2017 and since ~06-2017 all is empty...)

No new info yet, some people sent several addresses, some people sent addresses by mistake, some people decided to use another format for the letter. All this doesn't help to solve the issue very fast.
