Lots of progress. They are almost at a Gi and I have to imagine the claims were pretty bottom heavy.

That address is the funds taken into custody in October. I do not know which address the funds from Group 1 are at.

If David is handling the group 1 reclaims personally then I'm not sure the ETA for the end of next week is applicable to that group.

I believe that everyman in list 2 will receive their iotas very soon. The problem remains for list 1. As said CFB, this list 1 is managed personally by David and he is very busy...

So I'm freaking out a little bit now...

I've just tried wallet 2.5.6 and see that the seed I used in my claim from wallet 2.5.2(may have been 2.5.4) now generates YET ANOTHER different address and my original address I sent to David is not in the history (I'm on list 2).  I know my new seed has not changed since I copy/paste it.


Also when I check my reclaim attempts (attempt 2 apparently went through and was confirmed), however this reclaim tx is no longer found in https://iotasear.ch/transaction/

Is it expected that these reclaim transactions should disappear?
Is it expected that the address changed from 2.5.4 to 2.5.6?

Should I be freaking out yet?  Should I yet ANOTHER reclaim?

I have this sinking feeling that people in list 1 will not be included in the "all reclaims complete by Jan 10" deadline. Would love to be wrong though.

As I said earlier that address does not contain the List 1 Funds. There is more than one Funds in Custody held by the foundation. David is manually handling the List 1 reclaims that required KYC.

I sent the data related to List 1 claimants to David. The rest doesn't depend on me. You should understand that David is very busy.

This was back on November 28th. We all understand that he is busy. A little communication here from him would go a really long way. Hard for me to believe he will ever make this a priority, or that it's on his mind at all. Why can't Dom or CfB take this process over?

This thread has now collected evidence and documented the experience of several IOTA purchasers whose manual claims have been ignored for almost one year now. We have seen that contrary to the statements by the IOTA team that it is the users' fault for leaving the claim till the last moment, most such users have been trying to claim multiple times since last year, never to receive a response. Others, whose claims may have formally been processed, still can't get hold of their IOTA because the software now doesn't let them access the same addresses. A few users I have talked to privately prefer not to post their case in public, so the number of submitted but ignored claims is actually higher.

Several of the claimants I have been in talks with are more than willing to consider taking legal action (and unlike me, do not care to remain anonymous). The IOTA team is no longer unaccountable. Unlike the common scams here, they do have a business presence in the real world and have even managed to attract traditional VC investors. So I would be curious to find out how would Jamie Burke and his partners from Outlier Ventures feel about having their investment in IOTA spent on fending off lawsuits, settling legal claims, and fixing bad PR, instead of on technical and business development? Will they like the fact that the names of Outlier Ventures and IOTA now appear together in the context of scam accusations and lawsuit threats? I plan to ask them. In fact, it may be a good idea for all of you with outstanding manual claims to also copy them, in one last claim request. Their contact info is conveniently posted at https://outlierventures.io/#contact and they proudly (for now) list IOTA as a startup they have invested in. And unlike David, who may just say he never got your request, those guys are used to being accountable and wouldn't take the risk of ignoring you.
