I've just read that comment from helloiota forum about people needing to do their reclaims again if they didn't receive anything.  I've gone through the reclaim tool again and this time it has given a better message of

"Any reclaimed tokens will be sent to your address below..." with an address I recognise in my new wallet seed.  Before (in wallet 2.5.4) I believe it just said 'Confirmed' with a tx ID.

That said, my funds can be found at the start of this thread, but are NOT in this list they quote.
https://gist.githubusercontent.com/cyclux/2bb05d873c4ec6115cad1d100263d489/raw/612a49e46091586957448f6606ea981ab18022e7/snapshot_validation_20171023.txt

Is it expected List 1 & List 2 addresses wouldn't be found in this gist?

Remember that the situation of list 1 claimers can be summurized by the two following sentences of CFB:

1) "List 1 is being processed by David personally." (post 530)

2) "You should understand that David is very busy." (post 466)

The purpose of this thread is to document the outstanding IOTA manual claims, and the response, if any, they have received from the IOTA team.

The IOTA team has ignored my request to make the process transparent and to publish a list of these claims with the status of each of them. Since they also do not respond to emails or PMs, and there is no clear and up to date information regarding what constitutes a valid claim request, there is a real danger that after the arbitrarily set deadline of July 11th many of the manual claims will be rejected as not submitted in time, or not containing enough information.

I am asking all participants in the IOTA ICO who still did not receive their IOTA, despite having submitted a claim, to document this fact by posting in this thread:

1. The IOTA Genesis account address to which you hold the seed (NOT the seed itself).

2. A copy of the claim(s) you have submitted (with any confidential info removed).

Participating in this thread does NOT constitute a claim submission. You still need to submit your claim to the IOTA team, but posting in this thread should help document what and when you have submitted.

To reduce noise and trolling, I will be moderating this thread and will allow only posts from IOTA stakeholders (containing the above info), or official responses from the IOTA team.

This is great! Sounds interesting...this IOTA is a good altcoin with great future.

Any chance that we are included in the upcoming snapshot?
perhaps if we do it again...

Code:
Status: All reclaims that were filed before December 24th have been processed. For those who didn't receive their reclaim, it's likely that you
accidentally didn't get the final step confirmed. Please re-do the reclaim process and standby for an official announcement from the IOTA Foundation.

https://forum.helloiota.com/1242/Reclaim-Status?PageIndex=1

I have done the reclaim process correctly and fully the first time. But I haven't received anything yet and I'm not on one of the two lists posted before.

"standby for an official announcement from the IOTA Foundation."

This shit gets really annoying after months of not being able to access your coins.  So here is one for you Roll Eyes

Go here and find a better node to connect to. I like one with a little bit of load but not so much that it isn't still rated a 10. Rattach and promote with using the new node.

This coin is a complete scam, people got and get funds stolen on a regular basis. And nothing is done to prevent this.

Only recommendation one can give, stay away from it!

@Come-from-beyond I'm asking you again and I think I'm not the only one, please help David with the reclaims. it seems that this has no priority to him. You would make a lot people happy.

Again, show me where the devs promised an enterprise level wallet to investors that would alleviate them of the responsibility of proper seed generation--I use a seed generator, but somehow I figured out that changing some chars and being offline were things I ought to be doing (those funds are safe and sound).

The wallet is fine--it's just not idiot-proof. It's amazing how quickly some forget the mantra "Be your own Bank," and that that statement implies.

ok David is busy but this does not explain the important delay. After all, making a few transactions should not take a lot of time.
So, how to convince David to satisfy our claims ?
Does he want us to make a substantial donation (5% or 10% of our iotas ?) so that this could relinquish the tension and terminate the claiming process ?
Why not after all ! I could accept that. (it is just an idea, perhaps a stupid one by the way but we have to find a way to progress.)
