If anyone wants my 20 chips from batch 2, please let me know.
I have them set to be assembled with Burnin which can be kept if you wish.

Hi all
Just a few things: 1. I have not heard back from John K today about the refund request. Yesterday, after I contacted him, he replied saying he was going to put the refund request for our batch 1 asap. So I would guess he already did and we have now just to wait for AVALON to come back to us. 2. As far as I know, the escrow fee is not refundable. John K did his job and due to the AVALON mess he will have to keep still working by processing the refund to more than 120 different buyers. 3. Contrary to what a few are suggesting, I did not keep a 3% fee from batch 1. If you do the math, considering the chips price structure we used e.g. 0.08, 0.081 and 0.082 btc per chip I ended up which just about 2% too. However, due to trying to speed up the placing of the order I asked John K to buy the chips when we met the exact cost of chips + delivery + escrow fee. Therefore, I just ended up with a few chips as commission. 4. Expecting that nekonos and/or me receive some sort of compensation thanks to the second batch is not very optimistic. After all this fiasco I first need to see the chips in my doorstep to believe. Other assemblers are not even refunding full price for the assembly service customers paid for in advance. And this for me makes fully sense as all the time spent and money invested have to somehow be compensated. 5. After I receive news from John K that the refund has been received I will give 48 hours to everyone to ensure that the BTC addreess you used to make the payment and which you can see in the Bizwoo GB website is still valid for you to receive the refund.
Cheers.

I would advise bizwoo and nekonos to publish a donation address and to sum up an estimation of the time and money they invested for batch 1 so that people might have a better idea of what was involved. How much margin did bizwoo get if any (was the margin only in personal chips or partially ?), how time-consuming was the GP setup? how much did nekonos spend on prototypes/components and how much time did he spend working on them?
I know I would tip if I knew more about that and considered they lost more than myself (from memory I have already tipped at least 4 developers, some of them multiple times just for having developed mining related software).

OK, So as we the batch#1 group buyers are paying you for services rendered, could you please specify the exact amount? But anyway... what's very important now is to contact JohnK to find out IF he requested and confirmed the refund payment address. Thank You. Best Regards.

John, good that you've landed safely. Safe moving. And do add back our local BTC whatsapp group once you get a local cell number.
Done, cheers. Got all escrow releases done so far, resuming to accept regular escrows after tomorrow once I figure out my safe and stuff. Chip GB refund requests sent in for those who've voted to do so. Good. Step 2 done. @bizwoo.. My Wallet address is correct. Cheers.

John (John K.) on Today at 05:58:16 Chip GB refund requests sent in for those who've voted to do so.
@Bizwoo, @John (John K.) - "for those who've voted to do so". So, the rest of us actually will get chips? Isn't it better to place whole GB1 refund request as majority voted (or it's not a majority at all?) Is there any graph of "voting"? Now I'm really starting to worry. Part of buyers will be refunded (hopefully - as they want), and then what? I though there is no posibility of partial refund. such a scenario could place non-refund-requesters in a bad situation (no refund and no chips at all, because of partial refund) cheers

All buyers in batch 1 will receive a refund. Batch 2 is not within the June 22 cutoff limit to request a refund, so those buyers will receive the chips.

Hi all John K has informed that he already placed the refund request and is only waiting to hear back from AVALON with the refund. Preparing for it please visit the following link and have a look to the list of btc addresses from GB1 and the number of chips for which they will be refunded: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AqHDrDoprzirdGJXZ1pfaGNCNV9vdS03alo2V09QVkE&usp=sharingFrom the time of this post I will give 48 hours to everyone to check their btc address is correct and only let me know by PM in case it is not and/or there is another problem. Please note that I do not expect to change btc addresses for the refund at least you are able to send a signed message from the address currently in the list.Cheers
