Life cannot be all about new listings and fun. A responsible Crypto Exchange need to keep a tight ship.
Today we announce a few coins for de-listing. This will be a 32-day notice so that it will end on monday 7 January.

Coins to be de-listed in 32 days:

BCO
CNO

What a shame. I did not get notification (such as thru my emails) for my NOVA account.  I have not been able to trade (due to trading restrictions from USA) and pay attention to such an unexpected notice (in News) @NOVA while busy setting up the coming BalloonaFide (Free) launch.

It is not my fault. Novaexchange does not allow Accounts trading from USA (although it is opening for trading from Canada).

Nevertheless, it constitutes quite inappropriate notification in delisting Coino Coin (CNO).  

I will request NOVA to keep CNO there. There are some reasons and you might know them soon.

The last active Public pool Ipool for CNO closed doors. The zPool never mined "enough CNO blocks" to pay me back a long while ago and has long deleted CNO-mining from its Pool. (See the OP here.)

Hi, I have to change the app to remove reliance of CoinoCoin (CNO) on Cryptopia.

I have designed to make efforts of Support to the CNO Network be counted in J-Point rewards. J-Points rewards will be enhanced by combinations of "power factors" counting (a) Support to CNO network, (b) Support to Joincoin network & (c) Efforts of Referral.
We will only have CNO Raffles twice per week rewarded to one of registered CNO address only.
I will find the way to have a CNO faucet (just like Joincoin having a Faucet @ TradeSatoshi.)

We have testings after testings for the new designs and we should be ready this month.

No active Mining pool. At present price, very likely it is not profitable at this moment. Some of the past pools were problematic due to switch-mining and did not pay back in Coin(O).

I am setting up a pool for the coming revamps.

David Ruscoe and Russell Moore from Grant Thornton New Zealand were yesterday appointed liquidators of Cryptopia

Despite the efforts of management to reduce cost and return the business to profitability, it was decided the appointment of liquidators was, in the best interests of customers, staff and other stakeholders.

The liquidators are focused on securing the assets for the benefit of all stakeholders. While this process and investigations take place, trading on the exchange is suspended.

“Given the complexities involved we expect the investigation to take months rather than weeks.”

The liquidators are also working with independent experts and the relevant authorities with regards to the company’s obligations.

Grant Thornton will be contacting all customers and suppliers about its appointment in the next few days.

Due to tough rules and apparently being the trend, both exchanges (Tradesatoshi and NOVAexchange) that host trading for Coin(O) CNO and Joincoin (J) are inevitably restricting USA users.

At this moment, I have to test run and launch my app (after the needed modifications) without trading exchange soon for USA users.

I will get one for our app. Keep your fingers crossed.
