Does anyone know what will happen with the tokens that wont be sold?

I might be wrong but I don't think this is an ICO coin. In order to get the coin, you will have to mine it using mining rigs

Sorry if wrong

You are right that this is not an ICO.

It has been exactly the same old coin and there was no name change. The "coin swap" being directly through the blockchain level, i.e. every every old address with a balance was ported to the new blockchain with the exactly the same total balance but omitting the details that contributed to the final total balance, thereby, markedly reducing the size of the blockchain files so that the wallet client can run appropriately and get a new life. This is the reason that we have to give up the short block time to avoid the need to do it again within 3 years; it has been quite costly probably will cost more than $100,000 to be "re-listed as a new coin" by the time.

It was considered a "new coin" by Cryptopia and the actually work required corresponding swap of all accounts in the exchange manually- I was told; therefore, it took close to 5 months for the exchange to re-list this coin for trading. At the same time, the amount of new coins mined are drastically reduced. The Pow x11 went into the 4th halving of mining block reward sizes to 0.5 CNO from 8 CNO per block. The POS interest is fixed only 0.5%.

Considering the above factors and the sudden increase of liquidity (thus the value) of this coin, no one can stop the rise of the price.

It won't be easy to get a lot of Coino coins. Even during the old-days (2-3 years ago) of Scrypt-mining with fixed rewards size of 35 CNO per block and 25-second block time, it took me several months for me get the first 1 million CNO. (At that time the swisscex exchange was closed and the trading was moved to Cryptopia (as well as Novaexchange.)  The price at that time was more than 100 sat for quite a while.

The immediate road map is to have an unprecedented built-in Affiliate mobile app (for two -not just one- coins to complement each other). The exact details won'be finalized and ready to be revealed in about one month but you can find the promotional thread (still under construction) here.

Nova Exchange is about to close....
Any thoughts of adding Coino to other exchanges?
Cryptopia is great but it shouldn't be traded only in one place.

Cryptopia is great but it shouldn't be traded only in one place.

Bittrex is the next choice and it can be free but we need activity, value and trading volume to get listed.

Bittrex is a very long shot right now, I would prefer something closer to CNO's profile.
Yobit for instance.

We can consider that but before that I am thinking about TradeSatoshi, mainly to get its good managed Faucet to complement my Affiliated App.  Cheesy

Yobit is ranked 25th among the exchanges, with a daily volume of $47,649,492
TradeSatoshi is at rank #135, daily trade volume is $82,499

There is a big difference...
Plus you can offer coins through Yobit's "Free coins" system, as you would with any faucet.

Think about it, the key to success is adoption and trade volume. It is more likely to achieve it by listing CNO to a higher volume exchange.

Hi,
I tried mining here but did not connection.

Coino has been marching toward the last halving of x11 mining (to the final block reward of 0.125 CNO from 0.25 CNO) in 9231 blocks, not taking more than one month (probably in 2-3 weeks).

Presently there are only two dedicated mining pool. (see Op page.)

There are x11switch-mining pools which mine CNO at times. Among them zpool never paid out the 764 CNO to me and has deleted CNO mining there. (updating the post #2 soon.)

(I will post the screen capture about this and at the Op page when I can do it.)

To me, it does not make sense at all.

When a x11switch-mining pools (designated for payout in Coino coins) was pointed to "more profitable" other Cryptocoins, there should be plenty of profits to be used to buy Coino coins. The pool did not do it, claiming that it has been short of CNO and simply de-listed Coino coin from its mining pool.  Huh

Is there someplace trading CNO?

I'm glad to see so much work has been done on the coin since I was last around.  Good job.

Nevermind... I read back far enough to find out that Cryptopia is current listing CNO.

Not sure if anyone has kids into it... but I listed some Pokemon Booster packs on Cryptopia for sale at 450 CNO with 50CNO international shipping.  They are the north american english cards.

I can't seem to find a way to do a multiple listing on there, but I have several packs.  If you know anyone who is in love with Pokemon send them over to Cryptopia and they can buy some CNO and get themselves some brand new pokemon cards.

Since I last posted... my bitcointalk account got hacked.  Fun stuff.

Anyway..... wanted to pass this along.  May I humbly suggest that Coino fans spread the news as quickly as possible!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
December 22, 2017

LOWER COST GIFT CARD SITE AVAILABLE
JUST IN TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS
www.CoinoCards.com

While CoinCards.com has suspended operation due to the high cost of Bitcoin transfers, the new www.CoinoCards.com is ready for business.

The website allows users anywhere in the world to make gift card and merchandise purchases in one of two currencies - Coino (CNO) or Gulden Coin (NLG).  Both coins avoid the delays and high fees associated with Bitcoin transfers but allow users to unlock the value in their crypto currencies.

The site suggests using Cryptopia to trade for Coino or Bittrex to trade for NLG.  The coins can then be used to make purchases at www.CoinoCards.com.

As a special bonus, the site is valuing Bitcoin at $21,000 CAD from now until boxing day even though the currency recently slumped to just $18,000 CAD.  It is also valuing Coino at 100 satoshi - even though the currency is trading today at just 70 satoshi.  Combined, this means customers could save big over the next few days if they purchase now.

CoinoCards.com is owned by 83 North Inc - a brick and mortar store with a strong Ebay presence.  Information and support is available by telephone at (877) 734-6044 or +1 204 734 6044 during business hours. Ebay listing can be seen at http://stores.ebay.ca/83-North-Computers-and-Toys and users are welcome to contact CoinoCards through ebay for verification purposes.  Anything found in the ebay listings can also be made available to users paying in Coino or Gulden.

Many of the gift cards are available in USA or Canadian versions and more are being added.  Prepaid Visa and Prepaid Mastercards are also available in Canadian Currency which can be used worldwide if the use pays the currency conversion fee.  The cards can be used at face value in Canada.

Coino and Gulden were selected as the available payment methods based on previous support both coins have provided to the website.  This represents the first commercial use of Coino and one of the first North American commercial uses of Gulden.

Thanks.

Your store/website info is posted to Op page of this forum and Coino website

It is also received featured posting (in the section of "Jog for clubs") of the BalloonaFide Free app.

What's more:

Webwallet, exchange ( thru Reflextrader), market and payment system
are available for Coino CNO at the Cointopay.
