We have to consider first if things will work out fine after the schedule August One scaling remedy. The market is actually right now on a wait-and-see mode though there is a strong hold on the $2500 level. Yes, it can be possible that soon Bitcoin can approach the levels which you talked about. and to answer your question. if price breaks $3000 it will be because the bear market ended and by that time we will be on a big rise, so i don't think it will stop at $3300. it will be a rise similar to breaking $2000 the first time.

Currently it's really difficult to predict the correct price till August 1st, once that event goes away Bitcoin clarity will return and then we will really know. I see that by the end of this year, bitcoin price will fall if bitcoin proposal implemented by August 1 is not good or if chain splits but if it is good, I predict bitcoin would go way up to 3400$ probably before this year ends. It is also possible that it would just go up and down slightly and by the end of this year it is still sitting at the same price we see now, which is very unlikely to happen because bitcoin is known for it's volatility.

it doesn't matter if you and i think the rise is "a lot", it happens anyways. i used to think like that in the early days, saying 50%- 100%- 200% rise is a lot and a "miracle" if price goes above something. but in time i realized these prices are still way too low. the same way that we can all laugh at $200 i currently laugh at $2500 as a low price.

The price of bitcoin by the end of 2017 hugely depends on what will happen on BIP148 UASF on August 1 in my opinion. If there may be a chain split, bitcoin definitely will crash down HARD temporarily. I'm thinking about $1000 range. Yes, but first bitcoin has to win in the struggle as August 1 is coming. The price is going down partly because of the segwit coming. But if it survives any serious dip due to that, then it would be easier for bitcoin to rise up again and hit the figures you mentioned before the year 2017 ends.

I am quite optimistic so price might reach way higher than just $3300 by end of this year. Floor for price is $2500 right now because there is strong support at this level. We might see few more rounds of pumps which can easily boost price to over $4000.

The next milestone for bitcoin, in my opinion, is scaling. It's too slow at the moment, and there aren't a while lot of people using bitcoin that much. If we had as many people using the  Bitcoin network as say, PayPal, it would be completely unusable. Well this is a great news that China is legalizing the Bitcoin and this surely will effect the overall value and adaptation.

This year lots of good news has been coming into bitcoin in a larger scale. Hope the same will continue throughout the year, as we need to travel the second half of the year. Right now starting from Japan, Australia has legalized and now South Korea and China has come up with the plans.

Take in consideration we are in for a correction after that the price may rise again. This can be called the fifth wave as described by analyst. Stable support above 3100 dollar would mean we could go a leg up, but this may be something we won't see the next couple of months.

I have to disagree. I think that there will be a whole lot of panic over the hard fork which will likely occur this year, and if the hard fork does occur then i don't think we'll see a bullish market until a decisive winner is found.

If no hard forks are activated, then $3200+ is a real possibility.

However, we have seen the bull market sort of stalling over the past few weeks. This could be a sign for preparation for another pump but it is more likely than not that price will drop down to $2000 or so and establish itself there.

Yup. Let's wait after Aug 1 and see where the price of bitcoin goes. Its hard to speculate the price is there is an event coming on us. Some anticipate a price down, while others are very optimistic and predicting a strong price after it. I will not sell my bitcoin though, I will just hold on it and see how's everything pans out.
