We have to consider first if things will work out fine after the schedule August One scaling remedy. The market is actually right now on a wait-and-see mode though there is a strong hold on the $2500 level. Yes, it can be possible that soon Bitcoin can approach the levels which you talked about. However, since we are dealing with an ever-changing marketplace, all of those figures are just speculations and nobody can be sure of what can be.

I am sure that a lot of Bitcoin holders would be elated if your figures would eventually come true. For the past months, if there is one thing I learned about Bitcoin it is that its volatility can be so hard to predict. Nevertheless, the overall projection for Bitcoin is really very optimistic.

I am pretty sure the next milestone will be in near future when the soft/hard fork happens to solve the scaling problem.

If bitcoin splits into two coins and lets say 50% choose BTC-A and the other 50% choose BTC-B, then the price should fall.

If everything goes fine and it is finally possible to say hello, I want that cornetto, put your phone out, scan the QR-code which is shown to you, one second later the tx is confirmed and everybody is happy, THEN price will rise. there are already multiple one of these topics asking to "guess bitcoin price" and there is a board for it called speculation. move it there.

and to answer your question. if price breaks $3000 it will be because the bear market ended and by that time we will be on a big rise, so i don't think it will stop at $3300. it will be a rise similar to breaking $2000 the first time.

I'm not sure about the price increase, because some hype is done for 1st of august. If something negative happens then the price move will be surely getting affected. On this basis I hope to reach at least $3500 by the year end and surely it reaches $3000.

Currently it's really difficult to predict the correct price till August 1st, once that event goes away Bitcoin clarity will return and then we will really know. I have two sets of predictions once August one turns really bad then Bitcoin will take a nose dive and 1500$ it will close. Two all goes good then, it shall take jump up to 3800$. That's my predictions for the Bitcoin

It greatly depends on the segwit integration and the aftermath of the results. If it is unanimously chosen and solve the problems of delay in the transactions as well as the fees per transaction then I guess it will not take much time for btc to rise to the sky again. May reach 5000$ by the end of this year if everything goes positively.

I see that by the end of this year, bitcoin price will fall if bitcoin proposal implemented by August 1 is not good or if chain splits but if it is good, I predict bitcoin would go way up to 3400$ probably before this year ends. It is also possible that it would just go up and down slightly and by the end of this year it is still sitting at the same price we see now, which is very unlikely to happen because bitcoin is known for it's volatility.

$3000 is not that far and we did hit it already. I hope it will stay on that price for a new level.
It seems like panic sellers did stopped making a bad choice. Or the news about the South Korea thing made others pour out more of their savings to buy bitcoin.

it doesn't matter if you and i think the rise is "a lot", it happens anyways. i used to think like that in the early days, saying 50%- 100%- 200% rise is a lot and a "miracle" if price goes above something. but in time i realized these prices are still way too low. the same way that we can all laugh at $200 i currently laugh at $2500 as a low price.

The next milestone for bitcoin too  me is the adaptation of it because every country should adopt it to be incline with the crypto world because as far as I see some countries are adopting it and legalizing it so if all or even my country will adopt it, it will have a huge impact to it price just like at the event in the japan and other country.

The price of bitcoin by the end of 2017 hugely depends on what will happen on BIP148 UASF on August 1 in my opinion. If there may be a chain split, bitcoin definitely will crash down HARD temporarily. I'm thinking about $1000 range. I hope not, but if it's the solution for fixing the scaling issues of bitcoin, then so be it.
