What do you think of North Korea?

North Korea can soon become a terror to every part of the country.

For the past 6 decades, they didn't became a terror to anyone else. Why do you think that suddenly they will become one? If there is a global terror threat, then it comes from the United States and not from the North Koreans. Should I give you the list of the nations which were invaded by the US during the last 6 decades?

I always think it's quite fascinating how mainstream it is to make jokes about North Korea, considering what kind of horrors are probably happening inside the country.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind dark humor and Kim Jong-Un is easy to make fun of. But considering what a monster he actually is, the constant narrative of him being nothing but a stupid man-child feels very off.

The other world leaders were all powerless and they allowed North Korea and Kim Jong Un to do whatever they like but Trump has shown that he will not succumb to that trend.

Their army is one of the largest in the world (adding in the reserves) and their weaponry is quite advanced as well. Perhaps this is the reason why the Americans haven't invaded that country yet, unlike the case with Iraq and Libya.

man, this isnt right.. they dont have their own freedom.. many of them are just afraid to say no to the government, those who tried to leave the country will be executed, if they manage to escape the DMZ! well their families will pay for his/her sin for "betraying the country"

Certainly, the world should be alarmed.. There is a lot we do not know about North Korea, and what we do learn, is very concerning from a human rights perspective, from a humanitarian perspective, and also from a security perspective. But there are other players to be concerned about, such as the US, and how they respond to these aggressive moves.

North Korea is very interesting country but at my opinion something will happen to them in few years. Governemt built on censorship and communism can't exist for a long time.

I really have my doubts about it but the size of armies don't win battles anymore and though they have nuclear weaponry, i don't think they have more advanced weapons like the USA.

seems to be a nice independent country with a totalitarism and dictator. funny that this is functioning somehow and i would say that now NK are making steps towards the peace with South Korea. The launching of a missle is just a reminding of their powers, but I'm sure there will be no 3 WW.
