What do you think of North Korea?

Currently, Korea has announced the closure of nuclear reactors. That's good news for the whole world. I hope that such statement in the future will come true, people live in peace, prosperity and happiness.

North Korea had offered to give up nukes in 2007, in exchange for economic aid. But George W Bush came to power in 2008 and he sabotaged that deal. Just hope that this time Trump will be a bit more interested in peace.

Guys, North Korea are now offering peace to South Korea and I think everything is going to be normal and no more nuclear launch will happen again. Thank God that Kim-Jung Un has been awakened from his childish ambitions.

The newly appointed Governor of South Korea's FSS has said that he saw "some positive aspects" for cryptocurrency in today's press conference, May 6. The governor also said FSS would work on the "problem" of crypto rules in collaboration with other regulators.

North and South Korea ,finally,are so close to build a new country with,i hope,more freedom from the people of the North.I also hope that the President of Usa will help more than talk.We will see how will happen after the 22th of May.

Trump stance on North Korea is one of the reason why this happened and he should be lauded for his efforts. He wasn’t as weak as Obama and most world leaders will were willing  to kowtow to the wishes of the Short Man.

He is going thru the motions since his nuclear testing has stalled and his country is dying of hunger and the economy is in ruins.

If North Korea had the money and the technology they would not be talking of peace but war.

Not only that, but then periodically conducted huge military exercises with the South (bombers included) which are basically a threat to repeat the feat (that on top of the verbal threats of invasion and regime change).

But most Americans don't know, or care, about any of that, and mainstream media isn't going help them there either.

They shouldn’t even give him any financial aid whatsoever because those are the things that the pre ious Presidents did and the North Koreans still continued with their Nuclear ambitions.

So far, the signs are positive. But we will be able to say something concrete only after the meeting between Kim Jong Un and Donald Trump. I don't think that Kim will agree to give up his nukes. And Trump may not agree to a deal without it.

of course the world should worry because it's something that danger. If North Korea dared to launch something that danger does not cover the possibility North Korea would endanger the world.
This could be a warning to the world to always be vigilant and on the alert in the form of a surprise attack to come at any time.

I Think North Korea is one of the most powerful country in the world

It's a dangerous country - that's for sure.

But don't forget they have very old equipment! And their men are very likely to desert once they cross the border, because of the bad state of the army.

Still they could do quite a lot of damage to south korea!

Mike Pompeo (United States Secretary of State) had a very successful meeting with Kim Jong Un, the North Korean leader. But there is no guarantee that Trump will be able to reach a deal with the North Koreans. How hard Trump will try to get rid of the nukes from the DPRK?

Well its very alarming mostly to the people that are working abroad and on the other hand , my country which is ph , the government are making an action in regards to the missile launch of north korea. And so far so good though , now north korea is quite often to launch a missile but then again no assurance.

For what i think is we the world will be alarmed and make some action as soon as possible. I hope this will not be the beginning of a war.

What I don‘t get is why the US and south korea dont cancel their millitary maneuvers for this year, or postpone them at least.

I totally understand that north korea is offended by these actions, especially now as they are actually talking peace (or denuking).

I hate that there is a country with operating concentration camps and a system that punishes a entire family for one persons 'wrong doing'.

We have reasons to be alarmed. We don't know a lot about what they do. The few information we have don't push to have positive feeling about the country.
It's increadible that in 2017, their president is still mananing the country in a scary way.

You need to remember that a lot of negative propaganda is being waged against North Korea and its leader. Information on life inside the country is not always reliable, as it often comes from the defectors. We need independent media to report on the life of the North Koreans.

The one thing that most of the people interested in NK forget, is that even if it IS that bad in there, as most defectors describe, the "perceived" of NK's inhabitants is most likely not that negative.
This is simply because they can't compare it to something else.
It just is the way it is.

I saw a little documentary about a few defectors and they all said the same in some way:
Yeah it is nice to have a lot of food, but  they were happier before. Life was easier, less stress and competition.

North Korea does not pose a big threat, it is simple under constant threats that they behave naturally, protect their interests, if the US stops getting them, then all nuclear tests will stop
