NitrogenSports scamming users

Hello,
don't know if this is the right place for my thread,if not just move it.
So i started betting on Nitrogensports site.
Deposited 0.30 BTC placed Parlay(More than 1 match) bet-lost.
Then i deposited 1 BTC to play 2 tennis matches today.

Raonic won his match and then Lopez played 4 sets and RETIRED.So after that im joining back to nitogensports site to see if they updated the bet,and then what i see is my bet is LOST.WTF ?
I've asked in chat what's that about,and then chat mod told me they had rule if player retires after the first set all MATCH BETS are approved.Like HOW DA FK is this possible??? I've played on almost all big bookmakers and they ALWAYS VOID match winner bets.The rule is they only pay for set outcomes and ALWAYS return match bets no matter in which set the player retires(Take bet365 rules for example).
So how the fk i would know that they have such a shitty rules,which are set 100 % to scam users...

Take this example: Lets imagine there's a match between Djokovic and Nadal.So for example Djokovic leads 1:0 sets .And then Djokovic get injured in 2th set but he finish it.SO now the result is 1:1 sets and they start 3th set and then at the beggining Djokovic decides to RETIRE.SO my question is how do u determinate what will be the outcome of the match if Djokovic didn't retire.YOU CANT ,that's why it must be VOID ! There's no such fkin bullshit rule in all of the bookmakers.

Well i never experience the same as yours and i think nitrogen sports is one of the great sports book these days .. since directbet.eu was gone nitrogen is the next bitcoin sports book alternative .. better to try discuss it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=355081.5520

This is a scam 100 % no matter what they are saying.There's no such rule on any other bookmaker platform.I'm trying to explain to them in support ticket that if i knew about rule OF COURSE i wouldn't risk 1 BTC for 0.30 return !!

Delays and Shortened Matches
If a tennis match is completed, all wagers stand. A delay in the start of a match will not affect any wagers, nor will a suspension, as long as play is resumed and the match completed. In the event that a match does not go the expected number of sets, and the match is shortened by officials, the bets will still stand as long as an official winner is declared.

We advise everyone to read the specific rules for each sport before making a bet. Thank you.

Yep, as NitrogenSports said, terms and conditions say that when there is a retired player on a match that is in your single bet, parlay, whatever, the result will depend on the match official's verdict and is usually pretty obvious.

This case reminds me of once there was a guy complaining about the opposite - he had a tennis match i believe as well, and he bet on the guy that was declared the winner when the opponent retired. However the bet was shown as cancelled.

So if you bet on the other guy and the bet showed as cancelled, how would you feel? Exactly. Sportsbooks have their own rules that are followed no matter the result, to ensure the fairness is even throughout all bets.

Take the L man, it's just bad luck. Can't blame it on the house.

I see this as pretty ambiguous. I live in australia so i'm going to cite australian sportsbooks.

Ladbrokes says this:

In Match Betting, if one player withdraws or is disqualified after the first set has been completed, the player progressing to the next round or that is awarded the match by the umpire will be considered the winner. If the first set has not been completed, all Match Bets will be void.

This is basically what Nitrogensports is following. But sportsbet says the opposite:

all bets are void in the case of a match that involves a retirement or disqualification.

Bet365 seems to void bets as well.

It ultimately depends on the exact wording of the terms and conditions listed by the sportsbook you're playing at. In tennis this is a pretty common occurance, so i think that it's worth checking out next time their terms before actually betting.

It depends on sportsbook to sports book. Some might deal it other way and some may deal it way NS dealt . I recently got my bet cancelled when just like your bet , opponent in my bet event also got injured and I was expecting it to get resolved as win but it got cancelled (was on Coinbet24) and bet stake was returned and the support showed me their rules.

I play at five books online, four follow nitrogen's rule, seems to be the standard

Rule of thumb - always read the TOS and any specific rules for different sports you are going to bet on before actually starting to bet on a new sportsbook.

Additionally you can see that A. Mannarino is pronounced winner in that particular match so NitrogenSports are in their right to take your money.

Gotta agree with the majority and say you really should read a sites TOS before making any bets.

That being said, Lopez won the first set 7-5, then lost sets 2 and 3 at 6-1. He retired in the fourth set down 4 games to 3. I'm not saying comebacks aren't possible, but it would appear you were already on your way to probably losing this one, if it makes you feel any better.

A couple interesting things to note though. If you had bet the spread instead of the ML wager, it would have been a push as per rule 3 of Nitro's tennis betting rules. Also risking 1 unit to win 1/3 of a unit, particularly in accumulators, is generally pretty terrible and not advised in the world of professional sports degenning.

It's actually a slight bit more complicated than that for Nitrogen. Since it was a ML wager that was the issue, and there was a retirement, if they had not played one full set, the bet would have been cancelled.

Moneyline Wagers
In a head to head matchup, one full set must be completed for Money Line wagers to stand. If less than one set is completed, all Money Line wagers will be cancelled and funds returned.

If he had bet set spread, i.e. xxxxxx (+/-)1.5 sets, the bet would have been cancelled.

Set Wagers
When betting "Sets", if a match is not completed because of a player retirement or disqualification, all wagers will be cancelled and funds returned. If a set is completed that encompasses a bet (for example a first set bet where the first set is completed) then the bet will stand.

If he had bet the spread instead of the ML, for either player, the bet would have been cancelled.

Spread and Total Wagers
When betting Spreads and Totals, if a tennis match is not completed because of a player retirement or disqualification, all wagers will be cancelled and funds returned.

So basically in this case, OP had to bet Lopez ML and also have them complete at least one full set for the bet to be valid, which obviously happened.

People should use their mind. Except for all the people that are actually informed and know what they're doing. so please stop accusing other people of stealing because there is no stealing in Bitcoin.
there is simply giving away your money. You should always try to invest small amount and never take big risk on online gambling sites. That's my piece of advice.
