Why? Everybody can buy, till the 80k Onions are fully sold.
You can make some restrictions, say only people who accepted for the airdrop can buy, max 1000 Onions per user.

This is not bad idea, but honestly, I don't believe that paying fee for exchange is a way to go for DeepOnion.

I'm sure they can arrange with some reputable exchange to list DeepOnion without paying or users voting. However, that issue if they will list it since most of the coins are still with devs is still questionable.

I agree, there's no reason to pay for Cryptopia.  There will be other exchanges that want to be the first to list onion as it drives traffic to their exchange.  With the amount of interest that Onion has gathered in a short period of time, it's only a matter of time before an exchange like bittrex picks it up.

I guess they will first wait to see how big the trading volumes are going to be on smaller exchanges. But yes, eventually also the big exchanges will pick it up

No, this coin is being mined by ASICs already. Processors do not have a chance, GPUs barely have a chance.

Is that a verified fact? When you say that CPUs don't have a chance, that means you won't get any coins or only that it will be slow as fuck?
Kind of new in the mining domain also, and would go with CPU to start with.

That's right! But it's Baikal miners. They mine x11-x14 which is very useful for these asic owners. Bitmain is going to release a kick ass x11 asic, but Baikal will stay competitive on x12-14 algos.

Is deeponion looking to be a competitor to XMR? How is it differentiating itself besides the TOR feature?  The TOR feature prevents NODES from seeing your IP correct? Is this something that an XMR node can currently see when you make a transaction?

The Tor network support (ie. keeping the wallet open and unlocked for staking earns coins) is probably the largest differentiation between Onion and XMR.  It's also a different algorithmn, and I would assume, since your node is masked, it is not detectable by an XMR node, but, I don't think I quite understand what you meant to ask?

Exactly. I didn't expect the project spreaded so fast. Very successful start. almost cannot wait to see what will be its initial price in many exchanges. Once the coin is picked up by one exchange, hopefully, it will be listed on the other exchange one by one.

There's going to be a lot more attention coming. 39 weeks of airdrops left and more technical features will surely bring in more skeptics and haters. Well its not surprising to reach 200pages because of the airdrop RnR and how to be eligible to enter it make this quite a fast progress pages.. It will and soon will becomes one of the top 10 coin.. I believe so.. But it will required us and the dev to keep on this momentum going forward.. For the mining part yeah GPU is dead with the increasing nicehash miner that come and go.. If they stay it should be better.. If they come and go that will slow down the progress.. But all we can do now.. Keep on mining and staking..

there is another 39 weeks of distribution, just remember you need to stay active here, and also post constructive content. And if you want to dump/sell your coins never do more than 9% or so, as more than 10% will stop your address from recieving coins for the remainder of the distribution
