I welcome this, but this second change again back to 50 will confuse many user.
But from 100 to 50 there should be no problem, from 50 to 100, like weeks before, would be more tragic.

because a lot of jr members are just spamming low quality posts in bad english, of course not all of them are like that
but i'd say at least 70% of jr members.

Why did you lower the chars to 50?

The purpose we have the requirement of 10 minimum post per week is to make sure the account is an active account. We don't want to make it a burden for the users. The 10 posts/50 character minimum is a nice compromise for this purpose.
This does not encourage people to make minimum posts, we encourage people to participate in our community.
