Sorry, while telling that I used ALL ADDNODES, it implied that for sure I HAVE the conf file....

The conf files with tons of addnodes is NOT helping to get connections in my case apparently.

Maybe firewall blocked or antivirus? Try another OS or another PC or try in virtual machine.

I have no other OS available.... and no other machine.

What should I check about firewall and antivirus

Firewall settings?
Write firewall after clicking the Start menu and select Windows Firewall with Advanced Security, open it, click inbound rules, new rule, program - next, find the wallet - next, allow this connection - next, check all 3 - next, some name for the rule, finish.
Do the same for outbound rules
Restart
Open the wallet, wait 5 mins

If you're using any other additional firewall you have to allow the wallet to access the network there

Dont worry about the FUD guys and girls, its nothing.  Look at how many pages the coin has on bitcointalk.  Look at the official forum.  Now that we have an exchange with a good price so far, people are rushing to the airdrop/asking questions about DeepOnion.  Heck even I got blacklisted for being on vacation but hopefully ill be back on the giveaway, because I plan to keep the 90% of coins until the very end.  Keep up the good work everyone.

Very strange. For me worked only with Deeponion.conf file. In what country you live?

for other wallets, adding the conf file according to recommandations always gave immediate solution.

If you can browse over the internet with Tor browser you are not blocked and should also work DeepOnion wallet.

ok. I did search... cannot find "Windows Firewall with Advanced Security", I just have "windows firewall". When I click on "windows firewall" or even other options, I get an "error" message:
No rogram is associated with the file to execute this action. Install a program or, if already done,
create a link with the control panel program by default.


Sorry, but I really don't know what to do with that message and how to get to the next step.
